Smells as it sounds...
I was initially skeptical because I feared that, given the price, I would be hit with a biting synthetic scent wrapped in leather. Also, knowing the little attention this fragrance receives here on Parfumo, my expectations were not particularly high. But what can I say... I was very pleasantly surprised!
I only have a sample of the fragrance, but just as the bottle looks, the contents smell the same.
Wearing a leather jacket with this fragrance creates a unique symbiosis that I believe is completely underrated.
The scent simply smells like a leather jacket, and in the best sense. Central to it - unsurprisingly - is a distinct leather note, excellently embedded in a slightly spicy and earthy, yet fresh composition of wood and subtle flowers (iris and sage). The fragrance does not smell sweet, but it is also not really harsh. In some aspects, it’s almost sporty, but definitely elegant and confident. For my taste, this perfume is an absolutely everyday scent that should fit well in most situations. I can imagine both a serious man in a suit wearing this fragrance and a rugged biker with a full beard. It could even be suitable for a woman.
The best part for me is that despite its appeal, the fragrance still stands out from the crowd and has a high recognition value. If another brand were behind this fragrance, it could easily be sold for 100€ or more and would receive the hype it deserves.
Conclusion: If you like leather and want to stand out from the crowd, you shouldn't hesitate with this price-performance ratio and should grab it!
