What a great fragrance!
The Sãlum brand has appealed to me for ages. Back then, someone drew my attention to it when the brand was brand new. At that time, Delicious Bay didn't exist yet, but the marine oud, among other things, really appealed to me. Unfortunately, I still haven't tried this fragrance yet, but I have been able to test Delicious Bay in the meantime.
What can I say? It's great!
The Delicious Bay somehow combines two different worlds and combines them brilliantly.
On the one hand, we have this Italian-aquatic touch here, but on the other, something warm and creamy oriental.
The fragrance has something brightly floral or flowery and at the same time a creamy, almost gourmand-like sweetness with a nice depth.
Furthermore, it has a super fine and wonderfully balanced spiciness, as well as a slightly aquatic-fresh touch, especially at the beginning.
Over time, it becomes increasingly creamy and sweet.
This really light floral is still somehow present, albeit a little more subtle.
I'm not really a fan of floral notes. But there are fragrances that are so elegant and beautifully crafted that I'm won over, and it's the same here.
Towards the end, this creamy sandalwood accord with vanilla is added more and more.
But it never becomes too sweet, let alone overwhelming.
Not at all! Not at all.
I can also only praise the performance. It lasts a good 8-10 hours and the sillage doesn't have to hide either. It envelops you warmly and is super pleasant.
Oh man, I think this fragrance is really good! Hats off Sãlum, chapeau!
