Fresh incense
This is the first incense I've felt in love with, starting my great interest in incenses in general. This is funny as I've heard Lorenzo Pazzaglia is not a fan of smoke and incense. Even similar Bloody Smoke or Fôm is far for beign called pure smoky scents. Still he managed to create one of the nicest perfumes in their category. Incenso Notturno was created excluseviely for polish perfumery House of Merlo.
Perfumes opening starts very citrusy and peppery. This pepper is quite important ingredient of this composition as it's set the tone through all phases. You can smell also some spices in it but all covered in smoothed incences. All in all this is well balanced mix of fresh citrus, spicy peppers and incens.
I think Pazzaglia didn't want to create pure smell of medieval cathedral. Rather fresh variation like smell of small church somewhere on the sunny coast, close to plantations. Despite the description it's great night out perfume. I can recommend.
