Disappointed

I received a sample of this with an order I placed for another fragrance. When I looked into it, I was so excited to find that Daniel Josier was the perfumer. Typically I enjoy his style and fragrances, and I feel like he is underated as a perfumer. Also, it has the somewhat rare note of Gooseberry in it (which is wrongly listed as blackcurrant here). Knowing this, I sprayed, ready to be happy and blown away. I'm not. Matter of fact, I'm not even sure I really like it. It's very feminine. Light. Fruity. Sweet. Floral. But it lacks a base. I am not able to detect *any* cedar or musk whatsoever. It feels like completely top notes to me. I wish it had a woody or even a leather base, something to balance it out a little, but there's nothing to tone it down. I'm left sadly unimpressed and disappointed.

Fruity Soapy Beauty

A scent I was unfamiliar with, as well as an unknown brand. All the more I am delighted with my sample and its contents.
Spoiler Alert: I'm in love!

The fragrance starts clear with mandarin, citrus fruits join in and then cover it. And then it becomes clean and soapy, as if APOM was mixed in.
And I love APOM.
Seda feels like the summer variation of it. Citrusy fresh, similar to "Big (Body Spray) | Lush / Cosmetics To Go" and floral, soapy, and clean. I also catch a slight sunscreen vibe, but not like in Sunkissed Goddess or Alien Goddess Eau de Parfum, it's different and more pleasant.
Great longevity and sillage.
I fear someone might have to move in.
