Probably nobody needs it in their collection..
Vanuatu begins with a spicy green opening that is very extroverted. Cumin and pepper bring out the spiciness, which becomes velvety and skin-flattering as the fragrance progresses with fig milk and precious woods. Nevertheless, the fragrance DNA is too special for my nose. In the drydown, only a slightly sweet, peppery note remains on my skin. Looking at the fragrance notes, I think that they have tried to create a modern fragrance, but in my opinion it has more of an old-school vintage feel. Due to the subtle aftershave vibes, which are probably due to the violet, I classify the fragrance as more masculine.
I perceive zero citrus from bergamot and rhubarb. Since no review has been written yet, I get the impression that it doesn't get as much attention as Mandorle Extrait de Parfum and Brocéliande Extrait de Parfum due to the rather unusual fragrance notes such as cumin, fig milk and rhubarb. Of course, this may also be due to the price-performance ratio, as the sillage and longevity are subterranean for this price segment.
Best regards,
