Aptly-named - dark, with cacao, but not too sweet. Subtle.
Vivamor Parfums Dark Indulgence is a fairly-aptly-named dark, dry chocolate-led blend involving hazelnut, orange, vanilla, and musk. It’s not *that* indulgent, at least, to me, as gourmands go, in that it’s not too over-the-top but in fact a bit restrained (reminiscent of Crème Exquis in this respect), a strong nod to gourmand lovers yet ultimately something that anyone can enjoy while appealing to modern trends that favor sweeter-leaning fragrances. Like some of the other darker, sweeter-leaning options from the house, Dark Indulgence performs well, seems reasonably aptly named, and is pleasant, not too overwhelmingly, likely to welcome in someone who might note ordinarily be a big fan of this subcategory of fragrance.
As with the rest of the current Vivamor catalogue, Dark Indulgence is priced at $155 for 100ml in extrait concentration, sold not only through the house site but also through Perfumology, which also carries the sibling Navitus Parfums line.
