Today, my two samples from the ️ Wolkenseifenmanufaktur arrived. One becomes cautious about blind buys these days. I no longer rely on scent descriptions either. Coquette has such a sensual powderiness without coming off as old-fashioned. I find the retro packaging with the pin-up girls very original as well. There’s a subtle coconut/caramel note but nothing synthetic. I don't perceive fig at all. Rather, there’s a hint of passion fruit floating around. Definitely a summer scent ️ reminiscent of a coconut cake with pieces of fruit in it.

Such a vacation scent.
It smells exactly like a nice sunscreen! A bit more floral and fruity. Smells like the brown tanning oil from Hawaiian Tropic!
It instantly lifts your mood and it doesn't stick ;)
A lovely affordable fragrance for summer!

Beautiful exotic fruits, occasionally smothered by flowers

Wolken Parfums. Another brand I had never heard of, but I must say, the manufacturer sounds kind of fluffy :)
Thanks to a lovely perfumer, I received a sample and got to know this new brand. And although I was somewhat disappointed by the heart of the fragrance, the scent as a whole turned out quite well.

The fragrance:
The beginning is fruity-sweet. One perceives a light fig and an equally light passion fruit, mixed with a bit of vanilla. The fig quickly fades into the background after just a few minutes. The combination of passion fruit with vanilla smells nice; however, the flowers interfere too quickly, causing the scent to slowly transition into the heart note.
The metallic note that Serafina mentioned in her statement is slightly recognizable; in any case, there is a cool note in there that somehow doesn’t quite fit with the rest and makes the fragrance seem a bit more synthetic. The flowers become a bit stronger, but unfortunately also a bit stuffier, so that the scent doesn't smell as good as it did at the beginning. Otherwise, you can still smell the passion fruit (which is now significantly weaker) with the vanilla (which radiates much better).
But a little later, in the base, the fig suddenly reappears. Figs always smell good, even here in the base, especially when the floral-stuffy notes gradually weaken until they completely disappear. Then you can enjoy a wonderful scent again, and you don’t have to wait long for that. It doesn’t even take an hour for the fragrance to reach this point.

Longevity and sillage:
The longevity is rather low. The scent lasts only about three to four hours on the skin before there is hardly anything left to smell.
The sillage is simply average; the fruits don’t radiate strongly but are enhanced by the vanilla, so the scent is still noticeable, unfortunately not for long, as it becomes significantly weaker after an hour.

The bottle:
The bottle is rectangular (actually even octagonal) and looks slightly bulky. On the front, there is a simple green label with the name of the fragrance. The cap is cylindrical and tall. Everything is highly unspectacular, but at least not ugly.

So, the scent isn’t quite as fluffy after all, although the fig and vanilla do have a somewhat powdery effect. But the floral notes could have been better; they are not repulsive, but also not particularly impressive. Good thing they don’t last too long.

The fragrance is an all-rounder. The fruits actually fit well for the warmer days, but due to the strong vanilla, the scent can also be worn in autumn, or rather, it’s best suited for autumn.
For occasions, I would choose more tranquil moments. So more for oneself, as a daytime scent and so on.

Hmm, yes, I always struggle with scents that contain figs because I already know such good fig fragrances like Philosykos, which automatically raises the bar and thus the expectations. However, this fragrance manages to keep up somewhat with the mentioned scents, but it is weak and lacks a particularly pleasant heart note.

So, anyone who wants to smell a good fig can definitely check out this fragrance here and should not be put off by the rather trivial and mediocre heart note.
