The impression starts from the get-go with the bottle.A striking combination of gold and red, immediately hints at the Asian vibe awaiting within.And what a vibe. Starting with a striking Sichuan pepper accord that slaps you in the face, reminiscent of a sizzling spicy steamy hot pot that permeates the atmosphere of the bazaar. The addition of cardamom and tobacco leaf further enriches this scene, weaving a tapestry of spice. There's also a hint of something spirited, akin to a fine aged spirit but Journey Man steers clear of being overtly boozy, maintaining a refined complexity instead. Also the fragrance unfolds a fresher dimension, thanks to the invigorating presence of juniper berries in the heart, bergamot and neroli in the top notes.
