Warm and cozy but…
Not at all sweet or gourmand to me. When I smell straight from the decant I do get distinct toffee, but on my skin I unfortunately only smell oak and a dash of beeswax. I don’t get any spice, booze, nuttiness, fruitiness, or sweetness. It’s more atmospheric than anything, reminding me of burning candles in an old church in the middle of the night. It’s also quite faint and I can only smell it when I put my nose right to my skin. Despite that, it lasts about 6 hours on me. Definitely interesting, but not exactly how I prefer to smell.
