The Color is (Not?) the Program
For months I had the Liquid Brun in my Amazon shopping cart...I kept pondering...should I, or shouldn’t I.
Recently, in a fit of spontaneous shopping frenzy, I ordered several new fragrances.
(as if I still had any space left?)
My consideration was....should I now also open a new chapter with French Avenue after Swiss Arabian, Lattafa, and some other Arabic fragrance houses.
Especially since it has become known that this company delivers really good stuff.
Now to Liquid Brun....liquid brown.
After spraying, you smell this elegant blend of orange-vanilla paired with a sense of cleanliness.
When you sit wrapped in this fragrance cloud and a hint of fresh air comes through the window, you can smell an orange.
For me, it hardly changes....this scent can be described in a single word...elegant!
The bottle is not bad, fits well in the hand, sprays decently, but is a matter of taste.
Whether the color was chosen appropriately, I would deny...I would have rather chosen a pastel orange.
Long story short, the scent is very well made, is classically unisex...my wife has already subtly claimed ownership and the price/quality ratio is very good.
I fear these will be expensive months again...because the second scent, Vulcan Sable, is quite decent too.....

Great!
When the first Woody Oud was a hype, in the online world and the perfume community,
it was my entry into the world of fragrance clones from the Middle East.
However, the mentioned perfume was already chronically sold out!
The few remaining pieces were mostly being sold privately at outrageously inflated prices.
When the scent then returned to the market with a new name and bottle, I of course jumped at the chance... and bought almost the entire series.
By the way, they are all very well done!
Now... Dark Aoud or Woody Oud as it is now called again... and also delivered in almost the same old bottle, is a very distinctive woody scent.
Woodiness with a certain depth at a very high level.
Unfortunately, the longevity is not at this high level... but we are talking about a fragrance for 20 - 30.-!!!
Simply a beautiful rounded package for lovers of woody-mystical scents.
However, it seems to me that the scent has recently been reformulated... or does it just need to mature, because I have had the Dark Aoud with me for a while and I just received the new version of Woody Oud a few days ago.
Well, be that as it may, the scent is still a hit and I give it an absolute recommendation!

Close to the Original
I have almost all the dupes and clones of Imagination....there must be around 10.
Then I thought for a long time about whether I should order this one additionally.
Well...since I am crazy about perfume and I have no space left anyway, it ended up in my collection.
Well...the small bottle with the big cap doesn't make much of an impression, but it's handy.
Before we went out for dinner...I applied it generously.
My wife immediately said how delicious it smells.
I tried the original some time ago....and I have to say, this little unassuming scent puts all the other dupes to shame.
It just lacks a bit of depth and complexity compared to the original....I would say 90 - 95%.
If you don't have an alternative to Imagination yet, but want to try something like this, you can confidently skip all the others and go for this one right away.
Top value for money......

Good All-Rounder
This fragrance has been in my possession for a while now....but until recently, it was languishing in a corner where I hardly reached for it.
Recently, I decided to use it again, as I need to apply all 200 fragrances from time to time....and since then, I have worn it several days in a row.
At first, a subdued citrus note comes through...over time, it becomes woodier and then more robust in the base, leaning towards amber.
Frankincense is completely absent...conclusion: citrusy-spicy. Without vanilla and other sweet elements.

Apple Shisha
Long awaited, it has just arrived in my collection and is now regularly available with us.
The bottle looks beautiful and feels good in the hand.
Upon application, the green apple note and a light sweet tobacco come through immediately.
Yes, this is something completely different and I really like it.
The sweetness and the slightly fruity aspect remain... the light tobacco has dissolved into smoke after a few hours... instead, a light vanilla note comes in.
After 12 hours, the skin and the shirt still faintly smell of the Mashrabya... so the longevity is extraordinary.
All in all, this fragrance is extremely synthetic but still well made.
The scent never becomes annoying.... Conclusion: Sweet-fruity fragrance with a hint of tobacco and very good longevity.
