“Oh! The cap looks Amouag-y!”

I took it out of the simple old-Lattafa style cardboard box, a few sprays.

“Wow! This is really nice! Lemon cake? Lemon pudding with grated ginger…! Nice! Lets see how it perf..”

Poof. It was gone.

“Ok yeah lets let it mature! Not macerate….. MATURE”

After one year, it’s still one of the worst performers in my cabinet, to my dismay. 45 minutes in the peak of the summer, at best.

Non-FAQ:

“Maybe you go anosmic to it? “
No. You still get to smell it on fabric if you really dig your nose into it - this is proof you’re not anosmic.

“Well for the price what did you expect?”
For a third of the price of Nasheet you can get stuff like "Sheikh Shuyukh Luxe Edition | Lattafa / لطافة" - must i illustrate how this performs?

Ahh Nasheet… i love you. I just wish the performance wasN’tasheet.

for the price ok

It has some similarities to Ani, but only after 1 hour of spraying on the skin
the perfume is excellent on clothes, it lasts a long time, but has no sillage.
rating 8 for price and quality
the quality be good not like many lattafas which are very chemical
I recommend for the price
put on clothes last a day

Better than Spectre Ghost

This fragrance is one of those hate to love relationship fragrances. It was a hate but I couldn't stop thinking about it. Two years later its become of my favourites and irreplaceble fragrances - longevity is now 6-8hrs! I fell in love with the thought of Nishane Ani after this but I hate to say that after smelling Spectre Ghost, this is nothing compared to them. It is much better denser - every time I wear this I get compliments! It's insane.

Frankincense done right

I was specifically looking for a perfume with frankincense and this baby delivered! This is probably the first perfume I’ve ever tried, out of over hundreds, that actually smells exactly like it’s listed notes. It’s warm and woody while being creamy and soft. Very unisex. It doesn’t smell specifically like a cologne or perfume, it simply smells like warm beige leaning tan. The bottle is very heavy, black with gold, makes it feel masculine but it’s not.

However, not nearly as strong as I had hoped. I got my hands on a used bottle that has been open and oxygenating for over four months, but it’s still very light and airy. Even if this is as good as it gets, I am cool with that.

Very fall/winter vibes, but I look forward to trying it in warmer weather to see if it amps the sillage and longevity.

Edit to add… This smells like a renaissance Festival in the fall!

Designer version of Nishane Ani at a bargain price

I can hardly believe it. For those who know Ani by Nishane, I can spare you a long review and describe the scent as follows:

The Nasheet by Lattafa is the Ani by Nishane in a slightly simpler and more mass-appealing version. It really smells almost 1:1 like the original. The differences are present in the opening, in the first 5 minutes. The Nasheet is a bit more synthetic here, but don't worry - it's really just for those 5 minutes.
Longevity and sillage are slightly weaker than with Ani, but come on... for €20, that's more than fair.
Anything else? No differences. I'm speechless.

For people who don't know Ani by Nishane:

The Nasheet starts with a delicious, fresh lemon cake and a hint of ginger with blackcurrant, and over time on my skin, it becomes creamier, more vanilla-like, and woodier. It is a very sweet scent.
I would love to bathe in it, it smells so amazing.

The scent progression is not exciting and it doesn't change too much, but in my opinion, it doesn't need to. I love how it smells just as it is.

For €20, this scent is a MUST. I repeat myself. I am truly speechless... if only there were such good dupes for all fragrances as there are for the Nasheet. WOW.
