Bittersweet Temptation on São Tomé
Cacao Oudh was a blind buy and (thankfully) absolutely matched my taste.
What comes out of the bottle is a dark fine chocolate. Dry and bitter, almost dusty with a fermented acidity like that of the finest raw cacao from Africa... or from the expensive bar at the organic market. The oud has a wonderful supportive effect in this fragrance, providing warmth and depth.
Contrary to the review of my predecessor, I perceive absolutely no animalic notes here; I find it exceptionally harmonious and very decent.
After about an hour, the remaining notes from the fragrance pyramid also present themselves as quiet little helpers. Everything here feels very deliberately placed and retains a beautiful profound artisanal character.
For me, it's a mature dry feel-good scent beyond the cacao gourmand line, simply fantastic!
A big thank you also to Mr. Staudt, the creator of this wonderful fragrance, for all the samples included.

Vanilla kisses orange and it gets hot!
The fragrance starts as described with a strong orange, but for me it’s not zesty, rather fresh-dried. Fig adds some life and a certain enchanting note. I can only agree with my predecessors regarding the scent progression and the notes, but this fragrance is definitely not fresh; it is warm and soft, opulent and speaks for itself. Cinnamon and rose can be perceived very well, with rose being a bit more subtle. The scent becomes very creamy and feels luxurious; we also have dry woods and a beautiful, flattering vanilla. A truly lovely autumn fragrance for both women and men, providing a cozy, protective warmth.

cold, damp, still.
A rather static fragrance from start to finish, but I don't find that wrong in this case. Oud is synthetic here, slightly medicinal, which supports the birch with its balsamic scent. Definitely not a warm fragrance, quite fresh like in a damp cellar, the noted characteristic is further caught by patchouli. A good scent for winter but, in my opinion, not for younger people. Longevity and sillage are outstanding.

Boozy Hazelnut
Comes across as a very enveloping warm scent. Predominantly recognizable is a whiskey note, the hazelnut is also present, but definitely the antagonist. Not a fascinating fragrance, but it does smell good. The tonka bean is gentle, woods provide depth in the background. I don't recognize any iris at all. The progression is not really spectacular either, but that's not what you buy here. A very nice scent for the colder days.

Leather Saddle in Grandpa's Attic
a robust sharp leather scent with the unmistakable DNA of Alessandro Gualtieri.
A bottle filled with vegetable-tanned raw leather from cattle comes across quite unrestrained with a subtle smoky wooden note, which for me rather evokes the old dusty floorboards of a late 19th-century house, and in the best sense! Here, one or two cigarettes have certainly been smoked.
The longevity of this masculine fragrance is very good, sillage is strong but not disturbingly strict.
