Great aunt Tessie
To all the Potterheads out there…

Movie quote “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” (Yule ball)

Harry: "Well, I expect yours are more traditional..."
Ron: "Traditional? They're ancient! I look like my great aunt Tessie!"
Ron then sniffs his robes and adds, "I smell like my Great Aunt Tessie!".

I found the fragrance that captures what Ron smells.
And the scent lasts and lasts and lasts. Even after washing three times, I can still detect it on my skin. That’s probably why it’s called “under my skin”.

Modern Undefinedness
I expected a scent from the fairy world, but what I experienced was something completely different. Before my eyes appears not Arwen, but rather Cara Delevigne. A young person, modern, self-confident, genderfluid, athletic. Perhaps a modern elf. For me, the scent is not naturally green, rather shower-gel green-fresh. It reminds me of the vibe of CK One Eau de Toilette. I quite like the scent, but I couldn't wear it. However, I would love to have someone around me who wears this fragrance.

You Are So Close to Me!
A day has fallen out of time. Everything that is usually so ordinary and familiar carries a delicate, golden-brown shimmer. The moment stretches out, and a hidden space opens up. The wind carries with it a long-forgotten child's laughter. My hands, which have only touched you until now, have finally held you for the first time today. I am enveloped by the "color of the wind." It allows me to become the woman I could be. The serene warmth softens the edges of protective strength without compromising it. For a stolen moment, I see the world in a different light. I want to linger there. To surrender, to sink into you, to simply be without words. We will meet again in our dreams.

Sunset in Late Summer…
Bois Doré is for me “The Hotel New Hampshire” by John Irving. Bois Doré is for me my youth in the 90s.

Back then at 16. My cousin recommended the book to me. Everything my cousin from the big city had to recommend couldn't be bad. She quoted with youthful depth the line “Stay away from open windows.” It was a code of connection for us.

The story is insane and melancholic. Things that shouldn't exist find their place as if it were natural. Everything is just right as it is. The world is naively simple and at the same time so complex. A fairytale dream. One lies under a tree in the sunset of late summer and dozes off. The world blurs. Dream-lost, one surrenders. To what is and what could be, what should be.

All of this is Bois Doré for me. My long-forgotten youth that slumbers within me. Carefreeness paired with world-weariness. It is warm, spicy, profound, a little sweet, but at the same time light and carefree.

At my feet lies my old cat. He is a bit demented. He enjoys life. The now and here. I don’t know how much longer we two can spend time together. That makes me deeply sad because I can't imagine a world without him. But right now it is beautiful. He and I. Enveloped by Bois Doré. Stay away from open windows!
