Candied Skin Musk

Consider the typical modern white musk fragrance, then add a sprinkle of powdered sugar and a spoonful of orange blossom syrup.

I like it, and it would be fantastic for layering with other fragrances.. If it lasted. I know that in general the "your skin but better" fragrances aren't the longest lasting scents out there, but this one is gone from my skin in 45 minutes and my clothes within 2-3 hours.

Even with this brands affordability, I can't imagine buying a full bottle. The longevity is on par with a VS body spray.

Does your skin smell like vanilla?

I don't know how i feel about the name Skin for this scent. It doesn't really smell all that skin-like, it's more of a soft vanilla with a touch of musk. Imagine Kayali Musk 12 or Prada Candy Kiss vibes, but warmer and more vanillic. I'd call it a clean gourmand.

The salted caramel note is subtle and creamy, not burnt and only slightly salty. Light floral touches make the scent fresher and cleaner, they don't stand out though. I think orange blossom is the most noticeable flower here. There definitely is a freshness to this.

This is a soft everyday scent for those who like it sweet (like I do). Maybe the name does make sense after all. It's cozy and comforting, present but not overwhelming, really like a second skin. Very easy to wear for any daytime occasion. I'm not sure if this would fill a gap in my extensive collection, but I sure love it.

Inconspicuous Skin Scent

Harsh, synthetic powder for the first minute, but it calms down quickly. I get mostly light salted caramel followed by soft florals, powder, and just a little musk mixed in. Ok projection but not overwhelming; It makes itself known without beating up your nose for the first couple of hours. After 5 hours, it’s a sweet powdery musk that only projects an inch off the skin, and it stays like that for at least another 5 hours (in my experience, far longer).
It’s a safe scent. I don’t think it’s possible to hate this; At worst you’d be ambivalent.

A Hug From My Best Friend!

My best friend in the whole world is named Lily. For my 19th birthday, Lily put together a gift basket for me and left it on my porch and ding-dong ditched me (it was April 2020, so we couldn't exactly do things in person). In the basket, among other things (including a napkin, penny, and potato chip; if you know you know) was a candle that had the most beautiful, comforting, sweet and creamy scent. I think it was called Sugar Bloom (or something like that). I burned through it in less than a month; its addictive fragrance keeping me company through my Zoom finals and Elder Scroll Online sessions. I still have the skeleton in my room back at my parents' house, and even though the wick is too short to light I still love sniffing what's left of the candle.

This fragrance smells almost exactly like that candle; a sweet, creamy, slightly musky floral, but this fragrance takes it a step further and is like if you poured that candle on someone after they stepped right out of a hot shower. There's a warm, wet skin note hidden under everything else in the most perfect subtle way. It's potent, so spray with caution, but this really is a lovely fragrance.

Lily and I have been friends for over a decade now. We met on the first day of eighth grade in science class. She is my favorite person in the world. When I get married, I want her to be my maid of honor. She's my best friend and I love her SO much! While the time of social distancing was easily one of the most difficult periods of my life (I am extremely extroverted and depend on social interaction the way a plant depends on sunlight) and this fragrance reminds me of that, more importantly, it reminds me of Lily and her gift and that's why it's an easy perfect 10 for me. Adding to my wishlist IMMEDIATELY (despite likely purchasing soon anyway). Lily if you're reading this I love you to the edge of the observable Universe and back!!!

Sweet and salty

This is a pretty basic scent, not bad but not spectacular.

At first spray, it's sweet, musky and very salty. This is how it is throughout the entire wear. It's a decent skin scent but also a bit odd. It almost feels too sweet and too salty? I'm not sure how to describe it exactly but it's kind of like if you could sweat sugar or if you rubbed a mixture of table salt and flower nectar on yourself. The sillage is intimate to moderate and the longevity is only about 5-6 hours before you have to stick your nose to your wrist.

Overall, this is a decent enough skin scent but I don't enjoy it enough to get a full bottle for the given price. I got a mini of this in a 'layering set' with Sparkling Sugar (which I love—separately, not layered with Skin (did not like that combo at all)) and much prefer Sparkling Sugar.
