Strawberries and cream
I've been looking for a good strawberry and cream scent and this perfume exceeded all expectations.
At first spray, it's straight strawberries. Not the usual, synthetic strawberry scent used in fragrances, but instead very fresh, acidic and borderline citrusy, realistic strawberries. After about an hour, the strawberry becomes less acidic and the creamy, lightly lactonic milk notes emerge. It smells like a big, juicy strawberry swiped through whipped cream.
For the middle portion of the wear, from about hours three to six, the scent is strawberry, cream and a slight powder. From there, the musk comes out soft and cozy and the condensed milk reinforces the creaminess of the scent, eliminating the powdery notes. For the rest of the wear, it's strawberries, musk and cream.
Overall, I really love this perfume and am very glad that the strawberry scent was present for the entirety of the wear. It lasted for 11 hours on me and the sillage was moderate. This is definitely gourmand but, because the strawberry is more fresh than sweet, I feel that it could work well in warm or cold weather.

Jam around the campfire
It took me a couple of tries but I'm to the point where I really enjoy this scent. The first time I tried this, all I got was smoke and it was intense and a little nauseating. But, now, I was able to distinguish and appreciate some of the other notes in this.
At first spray, it's a strong, smoky and resinous oud with a slight fruitiness behind it. I mainly pick up on the raspberry, syrupy and sweet, but sadly couldn't detect the plum. This is largely how it remained for the rest of the wear. I got some peeks at the vanilla every now and again but the amber and musk were hiding from me. I didn't get any woodsiness from the sandalwood, only the oud.
The strongest profile in this scent was the smokiness. As I said, I picked up on the raspberry, but it was mainly in the background and it faded about halfway through the wear. The rest was dominated by the smoke. This lasted for about ten hours on my skin.
Overall, I really like this. It's perfect for cold and gray days—inviting, cozy, warm and sweet. It made me think of passing a jar of jam around the campfire on the last night of summer.

Creamy iris
This wasn't my favorite but I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
At first spray, I get the iris, tonka, tree bark, and the slightest hint of nondescript fruits. It's sharp and powdery purple floral with a complement of woodsiness and warm spice. There's an ever-so-slight sweetness from the tonka and iris but it's more so sophisticated.
It remains this way for much of the wear for me with the only change being the emergence of the cream note a few hours into it. At this point, the scent comes alive for me. The sharp aroma of the iris is softened and the woodsy aspects become slightly richer when the lactonic creaminess is introduced.
I very much so enjoyed the dry down more than the opening of this fragrance. I couldn't pick up on the walnut, which I was bummed about because I've never smelled a perfume with that note before, nor the fig—but I don't like fig so I didn't really care. This lasted on my skin for over ten hours.
Overall, this wasn't too bad but I don't enjoy it enough to go for a full bottle personally. I had such a great time going through Imaginary Authors' discovery set and, though not a favorite, I feel like this was a good, strong note to end on.

Smoky melons
I don't even know what to make of this scent.
At first spray, it's straight cantaloupe and oud—melony, smoky, woodsy and resinous. I was really only able to smell the cantaloupe and oud throughout the wear. There was a slight musk from the abelmoschus but the honey was not distinct enough and most of any sweetness I picked up on simply smelled of watery melons.
It smells like you're at a Michelin-starred restaurant and the chef comes out to excitedly present a glass cloche filled with smoke. When they lift the cloche you smell the burnt wood chips but, then the haze dissipates, and you see a lone hunk of cantaloupe sitting on the plate.
Though I could only really distinguish a couple of the notes here, this perfume felt like it had a lot going on. The cantaloupe note was so realistic I gagged a little when I first sniffed it (I do not like cantaloupe or any other watery melons). This, when added in with the resinous and smoky oud, was interesting but mostly felt like an abomination of sorts. The scent lasted on me for about ten hours.
Overall, I'm not a fan of this but that's mostly because I don't enjoy cantaloupe. If you like smoky and fruity fragrances though, you may want to take this for a spin.

Cinnamon stroopwafel syrup
This was good but a little different than what I was expecting.
At first spray, it's cinnamon, syrup, vanilla, caramel and cream—a bit warm spicy, very sweet and quite lactonic. All of these come together to make a good waffle cone scent but it was much more syrupy than I was anticipating.
It smells like sitting down to enjoy a wintertime dessert. After a long day out in the cold, you come back into the warmth to enjoy some stroopwafels with a glass of cold milk.
The scent didn't evolve much if at all while I wore it and lasted on my skin for over ten hours. The sillage was reasonably strong.
Overall, I really liked this. What I enjoyed the most though was that it was also much more lactonic than I expected—it immediately made me think of Commodity's Milk (expressive) with some cinnamon added. This is a lovely gourmand, just be prepared for the syrup.
