I was given the fragrance for the first time over 7 years ago and initially didn't like it. The fragrance is very heavy and smoky. You can test the fragrance at home by unscrewing your pepper shaker with fresh peppercorns and smelling it. At first, I was shocked at how authentic this fragrance smells almost 1:1 like black pepper. (The name suggests it, but I was still surprised)

I've had the fragrance in my drawer for years and have used it maybe 2-3 times in winter over the years because I always wanted to try it out. But it always smelled far too dark, intense and strong for me. As a young person, you don't want to smell like pepper and are much less aware of how complex this fragrance actually is.

Then last year, I discovered it for myself. I put it on again and immediately noticed that I felt good and the smell was great. At work, a colleague said to me: "What's that great herbal scent you have on?" I suddenly realized that he was right and I paid attention to the many nuances of the fragrance that I had never noticed.

Since I got involved with the fragrance and realized how multifaceted and interesting it is, it has become my "to-go" fragrance in winter. Very spicy herbs with a slightly green and woody accent. Really great. But you should test it first.

As we all know, everyone perceives scents differently. But this fragrance is one of the most special for me personally.

As a child, I always loved the smell of Persil, dishwasher powder and other cleaning products with a fresh scent. I therefore always wanted a fragrance that captured the whole thing so roughly and always smelled freshly washed and clean.

If you're looking for a slightly modified version of this that is suitable for perfume, you've come to the right place.

The fragrance smells unmistakably fresh like no other. It simply smells as if you have just taken your skin out of the washing machine and are now wearing it like clothes. Unobtrusive but very long-lasting. You will probably never be asked about it because people will simply think you are wearing freshly washed clothes. Unmistakably ozonic green.

It works at any time of year and can also simply be sprayed on clothes that may have been lying unworn in the wardrobe for a while.

Super fragrance, it couldn't be fresher.

I bought the fragrance in the hope of getting a more intense and long-lasting "The Scent for Him (Eau de Toilette) | Hugo Boss". Unfortunately, this only half worked. (Possibly also my fault)

The fragrance is by no means bad, but you have to warm up to the maninka fruit first.

In terms of the general fragrance profile, I find it a little too pungent compared to the original and occasionally get a headache when I wear it indoors and spray too much.
The edt. was a bit rounder and more pleasant in terms of the overall profile. The Scent Absolute is also definitely more intense and long-lasting, but therefore also different from the original "The Scent for Him (Eau de Toilette) | Hugo Boss" Edt. It is more potent and pungent, it can not only be smelled on the skin, but also expands around me and is more present.

I would recommend it to anyone for whom the edt. was not enough. For me, it is comparable to "Sauvage (Eau de Toilette) | Dior" and "Sauvage Elixir | Dior". (In terms of the concept and the relationship between the fragrances, not the fragrance profile). For me, The Scent Absolute is the "elixir" of The Scent Edt.

The fragrance is a casual classic for me. He is inconspicuous because of the not outstanding H / S, but really nice fresh and has a great apple opening. I find it reaches a bit medicinal in the drydown, but I don't find that bad here at all. Very green and fruity and fresh at the beginning.

For me, this is one of those scents that I always take when I can not decide what else to take. You will not "annoy" anyone with it and on the skin it smells really good and pleasant later.

Definitely suitable for everyday use and a fragrance that has positively surprised me. I have him now certainly for 1.5 years and have used him often.

All in all, a beautiful fragrance. Overall rating 6-7/10 depending on taste. Fruity - Spicy describes him well, citrusy and too fruity I do not find him.

Freshness times differently
Greenley is in my opinion definitely something for those who like fresh fragrances, but want to venture a little into "new territory".

The fragrance uniquely combines its green notes with a unique mild freshness and is therefore, in my opinion, perfect for spring, summer and autumn. In winter, I see him a little weak. Otherwise, however, it asserts itself well with a tart freshness.

I tested Greenley and "Sedley | Parfums de Marly" and then bought Sedley, because I am an absolute lover of fresh fragrances. But I had to say after a few months that I regret my decision a little. Both TOP and I can only say that emphatically: TOP fragrances, but Greenley is simply still a bischen stronger.

I would also almost call him a blind buy fragrance, which is of course tricky at the price. It must be said, however, that I have met until today no one who has not liked the fragrance so much.

In my opinion, a great change among the generic fresh fragrances on the market. Very great thing.
