Ballermann-Caipi
First of all, I must say that I was unfortunately a bit disappointed. I was really looking forward to DUA and especially this fragrance. It was my first time ordering from DUA. I love summer scents and coconut, which is why I was already dreaming when I saw the fragrance pyramid.
The scent:
To put it briefly, you get what you expect from the fragrance pyramid. Rum, lime, and coconut. And more than enough of everything. I perceive the scent as relatively linear, which I don't find bad at all. The individual components feel quite balanced to me, but the scent itself is way too strong for my liking. During my first testing, I applied 2 sprays on my neck and one on my t-shirt. The scent was so penetrating in my nose that I quickly got used to it. On clothing, 1 spray lasts easily 4-5 days, so you can still perceive it clearly then. Unfortunately, the scent doesn't feel natural enough to me; something bothers me constantly. It could also be that the rum note smells too "cheap." Unfortunately, it reminds me less of a sunset in the Maldives and more of a drunken night at Ballermann. I think there are still some people who will have a lot of fun with this scent. My experience with DUA is unfortunately not as good as I had hoped, as all three fragrances felt somewhat artificial to me.
So for me, it's not blind-buy worthy; better to first seek a sample, especially considering the shipping from the USA and potential customs fees.
Anyone looking for a solid summer scent and approaching it with not too high expectations (caution: DUA is, in my opinion, overly hyped) will certainly not be poorly advised with Caribbean Waters. Especially in summer at a party, the scent will definitely be well received. Not recommended for work or formal occasions.
Longevity and sillage are top as described above. Especially for a summer scent. Personally, it's already too much for me. With 2 to a maximum of 3 sprays, you are well advised.
I find the bottle and packaging not appealing at all.
Price/performance is so-so for me. Considering the power, you do get something for your money, but my expectations for the scent were unfortunately not met.
I cannot make a comparison to the original, as I have never smelled it.
Best regards, Benji ?♂️

Mainstream Party Fragrance
Well, what can I say? You definitely can't go wrong if you buy Versace Eros as a party fragrance. The bottle alone is, in my opinion, very attractive and looks good in any collection. The scent is fresh/sweet thanks to the mint note at the beginning, and later on, I perceive more vanilla and vetiver. I unfortunately find the top note to be the best part of the fragrance, which is why it only excites me for a short time. After that, I find it quite basic. Longevity and sillage are good; the person next to you will certainly notice the scent - which I consider a positive.
Regarding the downsides of Versace Eros:
These are less about the fragrance itself but are almost equally significant for me.
I work in a large German city in a field where I frequently come into contact with partygoers. When I first tested the fragrance, associations from my professional life immediately came to mind. Unfortunately, not the best ones. I perceive Versace Eros as the scent you get when you gather 10 partygoers in a closed room. Whether it's because one person is wearing it and it stands out so much that you can only smell that one, or if it's just a mix of all the youthful party scents, I can't say for sure. What is clear, however, is that you feel like you've smelled this fragrance a thousand times before, and it simply doesn't evoke any positive vibes for me (certainly also due to my profession).
To summarize and express it as objectively as possible: A good fragrance that excels mainly in terms of performance and price/performance ratio, but radiates zero uniqueness and is rather mainstream. Suitable for young partygoers to smell good for a long time, but in my opinion, it won't stand out from the crowd.

La belle from the perspective of "le male"
Excuse the bad pun, but I was in the mood for it. After diving into the world of perfumes for some time and annoying my girlfriend quite a bit with it, she finally - much to my delight - approached me and asked if I would like to look at women's perfumes. So, after some research, several samples were ordered for her. La belle was extensively tested by her and especially by me, and we found it to be good. Based on my rating, you can see that "good" is actually an understatement. Especially considering that we are in the designer segment and this is a mainstream fragrance, in my opinion. Mainstream sounds somewhat negative now, but it is meant positively, as the perfume does aim for that, and the perfumers have done a great job.
The scent:
Upon the first spray, I am overwhelmed by a fruity sweetness, which, however, becomes a bit more organized after 2 - 3 minutes, very intense, but for me not too sweet yet. I can't really smell the pear at the very beginning; rather, something reminds me of strawberry? Well, be that as it may, I really like the fruity-sweet aspect, and I also find the further development, where the vanilla gradually comes in, very appealing. The scent has a good balance and doesn't slip too far into gourmand territory, even though it has corresponding notes. All in all, a very beautifully feminine, fruity-sweet, warm fragrance.
I don't perceive the scent as childish/teenage, but I believe it suits younger/young-at-heart women - perhaps up to 35. I certainly wouldn't buy it for my grandmother.. The sillage and longevity are both good, not exaggerated but still solid. Interestingly, it lasts a good hour longer on me than on my girlfriend.
For me, a clear recommendation to buy, especially considering the purchase price. PS: The bottle is definitely a sight to behold.

Love-Hate
First of all: The fragrance definitely deserves an extra point from me if scent perception weren't such a subjective matter. I will try to explain my impression as objectively as possible - with some small subjective digressions. By the way, this is my first comment here, and I would also like to note that I do not presume to have a super nose or to be particularly knowledgeable in the world of perfumes.
Now to the actual comment: What can I say? I like it, but I also like not liking it. It sounds strange at first glance, but that's how it is.
The fragrance itself smells very high-quality to me right from the first spray. Definitely a plus! Nothing smells synthetic or stands out unpleasantly. Generally, one can say that the scent is very smooth, which is likely the reason for its great popularity. It starts off very powdery, smelling of fresh laundry, and then shifts into a pleasant sweetness for me. I really can't find anything to criticize about the scent, and I like it too. But it’s precisely this slickness, this "Mr. Perfect" aura that this fragrance radiates, that somehow makes me want to dislike it. I am certainly not a Mr. Perfect and don't want to be one, which is probably why this fragrance just doesn't seem to suit me. Or do I dislike that it still suits me? I think that's exactly where my personal dilemma lies: The fragrance has nothing that one could dislike - nothing intrusive, nothing stagnant, or synthetic. Really EVERYONE can wear it. For me, however, it is just too clean and somehow characterless - in the most positive sense!
This is not meant to be a bashing - on the contrary! I have the utmost respect for this fragrance and the greatest admiration for the perfumers, and I somehow can't manage to get rid of it, even though I actually want to. I was inspired to write this comment because I believe that I am not alone in my almost schizophrenic attitude towards the fragrance.
Longevity and sillage are definitely good (of course not intrusive - that could be off-putting ?) and the price/performance ratio is absolutely fair considering the good quality and the "everybody's darling" quality of the fragrance.
I look forward to comments/criticism on my contribution! Best regards and thank you for the warm welcome here in the community!
