Thanks to you, I now love coconut in perfumes ^^
I have known coconut since childhood and my teenage years mainly from drugstore cosmetics - creams, shampoos, shower gels, soap, candles, coconut wax, etc.
You always convinced yourself that this is coconut, but it never really smelled like that, somehow always stuffy, sweet, cloying, a bit overpowering, but well, that's how coconut smells in cosmetic products, I always thought. That's why I could never imagine wearing a coconut perfume, because then I would have that stuffy smell around me all the time.
But then I discovered this perfume here - and immediately smelled the coconut note from the sprayer, but somehow it smelled more pleasant, higher quality, more natural. And after spraying it on, it just got better and better.
For the first time, I smelled real or at least natural or high-quality coconut as an ingredient, and not that adulterated unnatural sweetness.
Just THAT note would have been enough for me, but the other ingredients in it round it all off even more: The rum brings a certain masculinity and something seductive, at first the lime and sugarcane are very present, but coconut is already the main character for hours, always in the background with the other elements, so it doesn't smell monotonous all the time.
So it's clearly unisex.
And unlike most people here, I don't believe in artificially categorizing scents by seasons - and then according to the logic of those people, only wearing them for 3 months, while the next 6 can gather dust... I wear such scents in autumn or winter too! And I don't need an artificial occasion for that! Just going out in the morning and being around people all day, THAT is occasion enough.
