First of all I have to say that I was unfortunately a little disappointed. I was really looking forward to DUA and especially this fragrance. It was the first time that I ordered from DUA. I love summer scents and coconut, which is why I was already dreaming when I saw the scent pyramid.
The fragrance:
So very briefly said you get what you expect with the fragrance pyramid. Rum, lime and coconut. And more than enough of everything. I take the fragrance was relatively linear, which I find not bad at all. In itself, the individual components are quite balanced for my liking, but the scent itself is way too strong for me. I have given the first testing 2 sprays on the neck and one on my T-shirt. The scent was so penetrating in my nose that I smelled it directly. On the clothes lifts 1 spray loosely 4-5 days, so you can still notice it clearly. Unfortunately, the scent is not natural enough for me, something bothers me permanently. Can also be that the rum note smells too "cheap". Unfortunately, the whole thing reminds me less of a sunset on the Maldives, but more of a booze at the Ballermann. I think there are nevertheless some people who will have a lot of fun with this fragrance. My experience with DUA is unfortunately not as good as I had hoped, because all three fragrances were somehow too artificial for me.
For me, therefore, not blindbuy worthy, rather first ersouken a sample especially considering the delivery from the US and any customs fees.
Who is looking for a solid summer fragrance and with not too high expectations of the thing (caution: DUA is mMn too much hyped) is certainly not badly advised in Caribbean Waters. Especially in the summer at a party, the fragrance is certainly not bad. For work or formal occasions not to recommend.
Durability and sillage are top as described above. Especially for a summer fragrance. Me personally already too much. With 2 maximum 3 Sprühstößen one is well advised.
Flacon and packaging I find not at all appealing.
Price / performance is so lala for me. Considering the power one has already what for his money, my expectations of the fragrance were unfortunately not met.
A comparison to the original I can not make, because I have never smelled this.
