Sensual, Fun, Grown Woman
I got a free 1.2ml tester of Idole Power and it's grown on me a lot. I didn't have high expectations after testing Idole Nectar due to the popcorn note and slightly cloying roses. However, I'll never turn down a free fragrance tester.
I tend to love any fruity/floral fragrance and this was no exception. The tartness of the apple balances the sickening sweetness of the signature Lancome Rose that I often struggle with. Together, the apple and rose make for a bright and fresh initial spay. After a few minutes, you're finally grounded with the sandalwood.
I really enjoy this scent, but it is almost too strong for me. Usually when I spray on my neck or chest, I go nose-blind after an hour or so, but this scent lingers and tickles your nose for HOURS. I've been sneezing but at least I smell good. This scent feels a little bit mature (maybe for the late 20s early 30s age group) than what I'm used to, but I can definitely see myself purchasing a small size of this in the future. I can't imagine finishing a full size bottle of this since a little goes SUCH a long way. It's a really lovely scent, and my favorite from the Idole line so far.

Angel Only in Name
As a fan of Angle, I was very excited to try out the Elixir that promised an elevated and honed-in scent profile. Unfortunately, this scent doesn't feel, smell, or project like Angel. I truly think that putting Elixir in the same league as its predecessor was a mistake, especially when it has more notes in common with the Alien line.
This is not to say that I dislike the scent. It's a beautiful creamy woody vanilla. It feels like a winter scent but performs well in slightly warm weather. Angel is a slap in the face from 10 feet away, but Elixir still radiates a few feet from the body. Besides good sillage, the scent is FAR less divisive than the original and is a safer way to start exploring Mugler scents. It's a scent for the grown up vanilla girl on a night out. The pepper and amber give the white florals and vanilla just enough edge to make it feel like a Mugler.

Your Hands After Opening a Tangerine
This scent is a work of art. It's not a Holy Grail, but it's definitely one of those scents that perfectly encapsulates a moment. It smells so perfectly like a freshly peeled tangerine and the citric acid in the air after squeezing it out of the skin. It's a gorgeous hot weather scent and perfect for layering if you want a little kick of orange citrus in your scent profile. It's a perfect orange
