A fragrance is like a song, it can evoke feelings, make you feel positive or negative, provoke thoughts, or immerse you in the past and memories. But it can also be like a bodyguard, being your companion for a certain time or the whole day and never letting you down. However, a fragrance can also be a mentor, uplifting you, making you feel sexy, radiating masculinity/femininity, or giving you confidence. That’s exactly why a perfume is more than just several scent components. This one is well-crafted and definitely lasts longer than the EDT. This fragrance has been around for a few years but is still so present and modern, and an absolute magnet. Whether at the office, gym, party, on a date, or simply as a daily companion, this is how a fragrance should smell. The only weak point is the longevity, which for me is about 5 hours (with the EDT only just under 3 hours).

This fragrance from Davidoff is, like its predecessors in the Cool Water line, a well-executed summer scent.☀️

The description really fits Captain Sparrow, as this fragrance also does.
It strays a bit from the norm and wants to conquer the world's oceans with a dynamic and slightly smoky sweetness. You can detect a bit of pepper and a light sweet freshness with a good sillage. The longevity is quite good for a fresh scent, thanks to the sandalwood, which also adds a bit of depth and thus distinguishes it from the similar Cool Water Intense. An interesting little water that gives you the feeling of the wild sea wherever you wear this fragrance.
Just try it out and see for yourself, as many have differing opinions about this scent, but is it sharp like Jack Sparrow's sword?

To be honest, I resisted testing this perfume for a long time because pretty much everyone around me dismissed Boss Bottled as boring since everyone uses it.

After a year, I finally gave in and ordered a sample of the fragrance. The result can be described with a "Wow!"

What a brilliant scent that reminds me of a delicious apple pie, yet always smells modern and elegant! I think the fragrance should not be applied at too high temperatures, but anything below 25 degrees is perfect as it is already quite strong in sillage!

There’s a reason why Boss Bottled has become such a classic. It’s simply a unique, super pleasant scent that everyone should try at least once. The rumor that everyone wears this fragrance is, in my opinion, false - I have never smelled it in my surroundings and am often complimented on the scent.

Conclusion: Don’t let others sway you, but always try to get a whiff of the fragrance yourself, because if it’s good, then it’s just good, even if it unfortunately seems a bit boring now since almost everyone knows it and many wear it. But still, it’s always a good elegant companion throughout the day?

What’s astonishing is that this fragrance (which is considered a dupe of Sauvage) has been rated better than the original.
It is truly 98% the same scent, and what impresses me is the longevity and sillage.
Additionally, it is well-made and very similar to the original bottle, including the magnetic closure.

For me, the scent lasts all day with a strong presence, just like the original, with a cloud that keeps rising:-)
In the office from morning till evening, there’s a fresh, strong, and fruity note that my colleagues also notice.

To consider this scent as standalone.
Anyone who loves strong fragrances, enjoys a fruity, robust scent, is looking for a fragrance that lasts long and doesn’t let you down, pays little money for good quality, and wants to receive a compliment or two will be more than satisfied with this scent.
