" So there you go, Davidoff!"
Have to admit that I'm turned for some years rather the "niche" fragrances..which has to do with the fact that on this segment are just more substantial / exciting fragrances to find.... Also due to my older age now...just like to spend more Euronen, for things that are important to me...food...drinks...trallala. :-)
Cool Water was then in the Ausgeh / excess time my constant companion + wore him for years exclusively! Was one with him and was just my "signature".
Was letztens again shortly before me a bottle, for nostalgic reasons, zulegen, since I came across the perfume.
Was excited, quickly ordered and now but very satisfied.
Am with COTY fragrances always extremely skeptical, because they are often a "Blender": sprayed on, found good and after an hour you notice the uniform mush.
CoolWaterIntense I had also bought and was surprised whether the new approach of Davidoff to CoolWater....completely different actually but also completely good somehow...

Now just the perfume.
I don't like to sniff out a primal DNA, yet it's a solid aquatic/freshness that goes the spicy route this time (owed to the added vetiver).....and even has an evolution. From blue-citrusy breeze, to yellow-green wuerzy - to put it in color :-)
So I like him. Is also still potent..... midday sprayed on (1 test spray on the wrist)....evening at 19:00 still there. Respect!
Maybe he is also just for the older thrown on the market, which were CoolWater junkies at the time and nu again to be angefixt..who knows.... :-))))
The heavy glass bottle is also quite chic....
Am therefore surprised-satisfied. Whether I buy him again, if empty....I don't know....
For this I have then but ( thanks PARFUMO...viiiiel zuviiiiiele) alternatives in the fragrance cabinet. *laugh*
Would die to be able to smell once again a Cool Water Vintage and take off again mentally in former club times... :-) ...the new version is to be yes something "minimized"..
Anyway...Cool Water perfume is worth a test and I give "thumbs up"!

The froth of the wave revolution?
Yes, I am (still) "Cool Water" fan and wear both the original and the strongly deviating from him Intense with pleasure and more often than I want to admit it myself. Therefore, I was also more than curious about the new "perfume", introduced it due to its very acquirable price even directly in the collection. What can this so far "most adult cold water"? A new king with trident? Or rather a wave parakeet?

"Cool Water" (perfume) has taken something from both the original and Intense and yet plays out its own character. Dark blue ocean surf, a little mineral, roaring and thundering cliffs. Much more mature and somber than its predecessors. Not sweet, rather high quality fresh. Despite slightly chemical hints at the very beginning. Fragrance pyramid is void. Saltiness is missing. Otherwise, a shower gel adequate with swell and independence. Maritime man of tomorrow. I like it better than some "Wilder" or "Bläuling". "Cool Water" (perfume) is a tsunami in the making. A water baby with no washing compulsion. A fragrant fish in a suit. And a successful alternative to both his brethren and the current zeitgeist. Although he (or his family) once actually paved the way for it himself...

Flacon: so far the most beautiful Cool Water. But up to the thick bottom used to.
Sillage: speaks one no one on it
Durability: 6-7 hours turns Poseidon his rounds

Conclusion: at first strange and not handy. But once you have befriended a sparkling-foamy aquate between deep sea and highly pitched. Could still rise in my liking and wearing frequency. First impression just behind his two brothers - still very good

Between "Cool Water" and "Cool Water Intense
What I was excited about the new Davidoff Cool Water perfume, after I am like millions of other men and women a fan of the classic "Cool Water".
I would like to say right away: It is not a "more current" or "improved" version of the classic "Cool Water".

Is that bad!!! Yep...

I personally find such increases in a perfume series of Edt to EdP to Parfum, Parfum Intense, etc. always great when the basic DNA is maintained and the fragrance was revised or even actually improved (see, for example, Armani Code EdT to EdP, etc.)
Here we get "merely" a potent Freshie the (unfortunately) has nothing to do with the original fragrance, except the application with regard to the season --> spring / summer

Here you smell in the prelude immediately the lemon out, which harmonizes super with the sweeter pink pepper and gives you a fresh, slightly fruity-sweet blow. Makes in any case summery good mood :D
A little later then slowly emerges the vetiver, which makes the whole something herbaceous-balsamic and is further accompanied in the background of pink pepper.
The whole is rounded off by the sandalwood, gives the fragrance some depth and harmonizes.
Great is that the shelf life for a Freshie here is super 7-9h and the sillage in the first about 3h is strong with me and then slowly becomes skin closer, but is always perceptible.

Too bad that we do not get an improved original fragrance, however, this new Davidoff does in my eyes what he should do simply well.
He does not cool as the CW, however, he is - fortunately - not as sweet as the CWI. He is a middle thing from both fragrances.
The "Cool Water Parfum" refreshes us and on top of it brings us summery-sweet good mood that lasts a long time!

Captain Sparrow of the Seas
This fragrance by Davidoff is like its predecessors of the Cool Water series a good successful summer fragrance.☀️

To the description actually fits Captain Sparrow the also this fragrance.
Falls a little out of the role and wants to conquer the oceans with a dynamic and slightly smoky sweetness. You notice a little pepper and a slight sweet freshness with a good sillage. The persistence is quite good for a fresh scent due to the sandalwood which also provides a bit of depth and thus the difference from the similar Cool Water Intense. An interesting little water which gives you the feeling of the wild sea everywhere you wear this fragrance.
Just test and try and decide for yourself the for many also shares this fragrance the opinion but is sharp as the sword of Jack Sparrow?

Good one!
I've never been a big fan of the Cool water line but for some reason I quite like this one. I respect what I get for quite a low price. The comparison with Invictus and Sauvage is in place, but if I have to choose I would rather go for Cool Water Parfum. CWP doesn't have that synthetic harsh opening of Sauvage edt and my nose simply enjoys the fresh-sweet i.e. lemon-pepper combo with quite a masculine woody base underneath. There is nothing exceptional or original about this fragrance, but it could be worn pretty much anytime-anywhere. It could be a very good choice for younger males without too much money for the expensive fragrances. It smells fresh, clean, woody and masculine. Again, don't expect anything extraordinary, but when taking the price into account, this is a great release in this cheapy category.

Eine mehr zitrushaltigere Version von dem Vorgänger (eau de Toilette). Sehr gut für den Alltag, doch es ist den Preis nicht wirklich wert.

not really a straight up sauvage clone. Its the same thing as with Wave where they mixed the OG DNA with Invictus - in this case Sauvage

It did not live up to my expectations. Yes, good, but not disruptive. Turns around ambroxan, it's Sauvage Davidoff and no longer Cool Water.
