Unisex delicious-ness with outstanding value.
Zara? Really? Yes, indeed. The first time I smelled this, it felt dry and nutty. The second time I smelled this, it felt sweet and chocolatey. The third time I smelled this, I swore. Like, several times. It just smelled THAT GOOD.

Simultaneously, this has that nuttiness from Valentino Uomo, combined with that trademark cheap, crystalline sweetness contained in most Zara frags, but with an A*Men-ish type base. That would be the chocolate. To me, it basically smells like a chocolatey, sugary-nut candy body lotion - if you can imagine that. If you've smelled Black Phantom by Kilian, you pretty much know Indeterminee. That one is a little more rich and dense, but the elements are all there.

Don't even bother with the note pyramid or what they say on the box. To me it makes absolutely no sense. This stuff is all base notes and has BEAST MODE longevity and projection - so be careful on the sprays. And can you guess how much it cost? Yeah. That's why I have 3 bottles. The value is just IN-SANE.

Luscious Cocoa Butter Cake with Vanilla Cream Filing & Cinnamon Frosting
I have got ZARA Tone - Indéterminée in my wardrobe for eight months now. I was looking forward to wearing it during this fall season to give it the honest and appropriate review it deserves. It is late fall now, and the time has come, finally!

It opens with an initial blast that smells like delicious almond joy cupcakes, tender Madeline, sweet-meal digestive biscuits, and refreshing citrus notes. Sweet cinnamon-dusted almonds with drops of grapefruit, all topped with caramel sauce, are the things that create such an exceptional opening. Oh, oh, this is firmly gourmand, whit that buttery and tasty background.

After 10 minutes, it turns hot, very soft, as creamy amber hay tobacco, not the smoked one, but just fresh leaves, which gives it enough of a masculine edge that it doesn't become too sweet. Oh, man. It is freaking good! Yet a buttery quality, not cloying, perhaps due to a tad of iris or orris root, not mentioned, though clearly recognizable among middle notes.

The dry-down is gourmand, keeping a nutty quality, intensely rich, sweet, with nuances of Cognac, or better Rum, according to the pyramid notes. And there's a slight sweetness to it. I bet it is the cinnamon bark together with the ambrette seeds that make this so yummy. The perfect balance of gourmands and masculine tones like tobacco leaves filled the room where I had worked, and the moment my co-workers came in, they were welcomed by the yummy scents, made them crave for chocolates and pastries! Do you know what Baileys smells like? It doesn't feel dry and boozy, slightly not a whiskey aroma. It's more like a creamy, milky, caramelly, toffee-like aroma, and Tone Indéterminée is all about it.

There's a striking resemblance to Valentino Uomo, they have a similar vibe, but they are not identical, rather very different from one another. Besides, it shares most of the notes in common with Midnight in Paris by Van Cleef & Arpels without the leather, but I have never tested that.

Longevity is above average, considering that I wore it around 7.30 am, and I yet feel it in my nostrils, being 4.00 pm right now, likewise for the sillage, which I perceive very well and clearly whenever I move around. I have worn it at the office, and when I left my desk to have some rest and went right back, I got an adorable and gourmand smell as soon as I moved closer to my cubicle. That's stunning, Tone Indéterminée remains in the space around you, though it is not overwhelming nor cloying the people sitting near you. According to my mood and flavor, It fits better with cold weather, like central fall and early spring day, when the sun is shining, and the air is sparkling, although I prefer floral families for the late season.

If you have a chance to stop by a ZARA shop, I dare you to try it, and you will not regret it. Sadly, I can't name a very similar fragrance. Valentino Uomo has some of the same gourmands, but Tone has a buttery quality that is unique.

I’m munching cookies at Zara
Hey, a Zara fragrance. What a coincidence, I was just at Zara recently. Well, not really to shop for myself, but with my cousin, who wanted to take a quick look inside. And I got lucky! Prepared for at least four hours of boredom in the store (since I thought she wanted to look at EVERYTHING), we were in and out in less than 15 minutes! Oh, if only it were always that easy… :D

And as most of you probably know, Zara also has its own brand of fragrances. In the past, I had avoided their scents because I thought they had just thrown a few fragrances on the market to quickly make some extra cash. But since the excellent Teawood, my opinion has changed, so I’m actually quite excited about this fragrance here. At this point, I want to thank the nice Parfumo who sent me this scent :)

So let’s see how the fragrance is. Ah, I love being able to test scents at home in peace instead of in a crowded place like Zara, which is often quite busy… not to mention the often full fitting rooms (when you’re also looking at clothes,… yes folks, there are not just fragrances in the world :DD) *sigh*

The scent:
Tobacco and cinnamon are the first notes I perceive. The sweet cinnamon smells like spicy (Christmas) cookies, which I find particularly great and will definitely mark this scent for the Christmas season. The mentioned tobacco also smells good.
You can’t smell the grapefruit at all.
Quickly, woody notes come in the heart. It’s the cedar that you can clearly detect. I’m a bit unsure about the rum; I’m not sure if I really perceive it, so it could have been a bit stronger.
In the base, you still smell the cinnamon among the sweet notes, with a vanillic sweetness and a very slightly fruity undertone coming in. The cedar is still strong, but the tobacco decreases a bit from the base. Additionally, the scent is slightly powdery. All in all, a very nice, sweet fragrance.

The sillage and longevity:
The scent is quite strong and leaves a big scent cloud, especially in the initial stage. But even later, it is still very noticeable.
The longevity also impressed me a lot, as it was detectable for more than ten hours.

The bottle:
As beautiful as the scent is, I find the bottle quite simple. It is rectangular with a thick base and has rounded corners. On the front, the name of the fragrance and the brand are displayed below. The cap is black and cylindrical. Everything is done very plainly, and therefore not particularly beautiful.

Ah, Tone Indéterminée is another Zara fragrance that smells excellent. It reminds me of the Advent season, where you basically stuff yourself with tons of Christmas goodies like cookies, biscuits, chocolate Santas, gingerbread, peppernuts (who’s mouth is watering? :DD) etc. until deep into the New Year, and then in the New Year, you (this time really) resolve to eat healthier and lose weight.

Unfortunately, as so often, this only works to a limited extent, as the actual cold winter here in Germany notoriously really begins right after New Year, and because of the freezing cold in January and February, you drink warm tea and coffee and almost automatically reach for the cookies and biscuits (which are leftover from Christmas and it’s such a shame to throw them away… especially when you have the choice between a delicious cookie and a… uh… stick of healthy celery… :D). …
And if you then try to lose all the pounds in spring, summer hits and before you know it, you’re munching tons of ice cream again! A vicious cycle, aaaaaargh!!! *sigh*

Oh well. As I said, this fragrance simply smells fantastic and is an optimal companion in autumn, even better in winter. Used sparingly during the day, a bit more when going out, it should always be well received! Therefore, I recommend everyone to try the scent, as long as you don’t have an aversion to cinnamon or gourmand fragrances.

Metrosexuality
At first, one can perceive an intense and very strong, dense note that exudes the typical, slightly warming, dry, sweet-spicy Ceylon cinnamon scent, which I had also suspected instead of the cinnamon bark.

At the same time, the cinnamon bark is accompanied by a very delicate, almost fragile fruity nuance that made me think more of a mandarin sprinkled with lemon; I also thought of white peach instead of grapefruit, as here completely absent are the sour, very fine bitter fresh nuances that one would actually "almost expect" from a grapefruit, creating the image of a luxurious, wonderfully light velvety body milk.

A little later, in my opinion, the scent profile has not changed in any noteworthy way - And of course, now comes a but :-)

The fragrance becomes even denser, creamier, feeling gourmand-like with cocoa butter and is accompanied by a beautiful lively, for me magenta-colored floral neroli note, enveloped by the pleasantly powdery balm of tobacco leaves, and I thought I perceived tolu balsam, also Peru balsam; I could also very well imagine copaiba balsam, but would have never suspected tobacco leaves.

Tone - Indéterminée is a very lovable rebel, as it pulls the feminine in such a somewhat unusual and simultaneously fascinatingly attractive direction that only metrosexuality comes to mind; this same aura I perceive can also be found in Gaultier 2, Naomi Campbell's signature scent, and Dior Homme Intense, and I would identify ambrette as the "recognition" note.

In the last 4 hours, the ambrette has completely built up and leaves one lying in a liqueur-like, very subtly light woody silk sheet, and I also guessed the use of rum and cedarwood, along with sandalwood.

Overall, the fragrance lasts 9.5 hours on my skin.

The sillage is designed from the beginning for a very noticeably whole arm's length for 4 hours, before it gradually diminishes until the scent fades away.

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to our perfumer "Duftelinchen" for the sample.

Absolutely Brilliant Gourmet Perfume
I have a lot of fragrances (see my collection) but this one is right at the top!
I discovered this scent by chance at Zara in Barcelona.
At first very, very strong and sweet, later a bit lighter; I was thrilled after a few hours, it had a slight resemblance to Dior Homme.
Quite interesting, I've never been approached about a fragrance so often.
Wherever you go, the scent remains noticeable for a long time:-)
A bit like a cookie bakery and lasts a very, very long time!
Sprayed on at 5 AM, around 4 PM I was approached by colleagues from the late shift, saying I smelled great.
They especially asked if I had just sprayed myself:-))
The longevity for me is an incredible minimum of 15h!!!!
Brilliant and at 10 euros for 100ml, a fantastic gourmet scent that none of my other fragrances can compare to.
Anyone looking for a strong, long-lasting, sweet, noble, and interesting perfume should definitely try this one!!!
Unfortunately, it’s no longer available at the Spanish fashion house:-(((
Luckily, I still have 5 as a reserve:-))

Works great as a unisex/women's scent! In addition to the mentioned treats, I’d add coffee-flavored éclairs and caramel candies.

Like an iced coffee in a well-stocked tobacco shop. ALSO great for non-smokers, a wonderful, long-lasting, cozy scent for cold days.
