A true work of olfactory art
*First impression
This attar was absolutely superb in terms of scent profile, what I get is mainly a deep and dark cambodian oud in the opening, which really gives off an enigmatic yet powerful nuance, along with a delicious slight hint of sweetness.
After the initial blast the tibetan musk grains “will work”.. these in particular truly shine in the air, resulting in an outstanding mixture of floral and chocolaty-ish quality.
The cherry on top of the cake was when here and there, throughout the wear experience, I got whiffs of the taifi rose, the one i find to like the most, and which works as a delicate note that sends some light and softness to the juice..
In the dry down I also managed to detect a certain creaminess, probably resulting from the orris.
The whole wearing experience was beyond supernatural, I couldn’t stop smelling my hand (on the skin it was like tincture)!
It is a true gift to be able to try such fragrance and raw ingredients nowadays, so I really want to thank Marius for the stunning works he’s creating!

An elegant and easy to wear Rose-Oud
Camboscena - a composition with a simple structure but with a refined and extremely elegant yield. The perceived notes are essentially Rose and oud. The DNA of the perfume is very similar to the one of
Oud Satin Mood Eau de Parfum but in this case the bubblegum and synthetic nuance of the latter are missing, and the oud used is natural and dosed in more generous quantities. A creation that perfectly exemplifies a beloved combo of perfumery, in an authentic and well-made key, super appreciable and easy to wear. Superb quality and design of the bottle!

Mango falling from its tree finally reaches the ocean
Habana Ambar EO opens with a juicy and luminous explosion of mango, surprisingly natural and enveloping. Its sweetness, never cloying, is expertly balanced by a hint of acidity that gives it freshness and momentum. Right from the start, in the background, a woody and resinous base of oud can be glimpsed, which acts as a counterpoint to the sparkling fruity opening.
Once the initial impact is overcome, the scent begins to settle, and the mango, while remaining the protagonist, gradually gives way to more complex facets. Green and aromatic notes emerge: juniper brings a balsamic freshness, fir adds a moist vegetal accent, while a touch of lavender – which I personally find a bit dissonant. The result is an atypical tropical accord, which moves away from the predictable solarity to embrace the deep and sophisticated aesthetic of Ensar Oud.
As always in the creations of the house, the assembly is meticulous and refined. The quality of the raw materials is evident, and the composition develops naturally. The oud, although present in a discreet way, gives depth, character and a sort of austere solemnity, as if the mango itself were a wild fruit grown in the heart of a tropical forest, among resinous trunks and damp scents of earth.
In the drydown, the fragrance surprisingly comes close to
Oud Ertugrul Pure Parfum : a delicate salinity emerges, probably due to the ambergris, while hints of dry tobacco, creamy sandalwood and a shadow of smoky oud make their way. The overall tone becomes warmer, calm, but never banal.
But when all seemed to have settle down, a final evolution of the fragrance: what’s left is a beautiful salty and oceanic ambergris, which makes its entrance from the previous smoky facets, what a beautiful and interesting way to disclose this experience!
In terms of composition, Habana Ambar EO is well-constructed but accessible, simple in the noble sense of the term: balanced, coherent, and wearable without excess. It is a lively, vivacious fragrance, but with a solid woody and mysterious soul. The combination of mango, aromatic greens and oud is successful, original, and capable of evoking an olfactory landscape that surprises and leaves an impression.
I personally enjoyed the most the heart of the fragrance, when the smoky facets still hadn’t showed up, but in the end the scent surprised me, and I really appreciated the artistic work behind it!

Barbecue between cypresses and firs
Oud Ertugrul opens with a very delicate Cambodian oud, then leaving room for a fantastic realistic and natural cypress and fir, accompanied by floral notes, in which I can identify the mimosa and a green tobacco in the heart that gives body to the fragrance.
The combination of lime, peach and raspberry give a fruity and slightly acidic feel that goes well with the woody and floral notes, creating the image of a bed of oud on which a bouquet of fruit and flowers lies.
The tobacco leaf comes out after an initial woody opening, accompanied by floral and fruity scents, creating a balanced and spicy aromatic yield.
The drydown is very smoky, the protagonists are the tobacco leaf and the oud, which together create a scent that sort of recalls a barbecue effect.
It is the first Ensar that I try, surely what immediately transcends is the use of high quality raw materials, promoted, but not with full marks for personal taste. 7.5/10

The true essence of a Saudi Arabia sheik
Sunset in KSA attar JS - very strong opening, you can immediately feel the oud varieties together with this coffee note that gives an animalic and imposing effect. After a few minutes, once the oil settles on the skin, the magic. The coffee is accompanied by green notes of basil and lime, which give a touch of freshness and liveliness to the perfume. Then, again, a sublime rose and the pairing of Kashmiri and Tibetan musk make their entrance. The scent is definitely oriental, the perfume truly manages to embody the essence of a Saudi sheik, the raw materials used are immediately perceived as excellent, you can tell that the distillation process by Marius was done with caution, as the oud, although animalic, does not appear to be manure or unpleasant, instead managing to give body, size and powerful character to the fragrance, giving it roundness and charisma. The deer musk used, on the other hand, together with the rose, give refinement and delicacy to sunset in KSA. This contrast created addiction in me after a few minutes, making it impossible for me not to look for this fantastic blend of smells that the attar in question has. One of the best I have tried so far, 9.5-10/10
(Lime and basil top effect, give that hint of freshness to the perfume that makes the rest, oud musk and rose, even more clear and pleasant). Nonsense, it is phenomenal, period. It is addictive.
