This opens up smoky, slightly animalic, spicy and warm with a deep red synthetic rose to balance it out. It is a bit heavier in the smokiness than ON and, to its benefit, lacks the weird "twang" that ON has to my nose. The end result is a great alternative that kind of does the same thing but a lot cheaper.

Longevity, projection and sillage are outstanding. Lasts all day and sticks to your clothes like mad.

This might remind you of other fragrances. Clearly people are reminded of Le Male. This is not unique, but it definitely is high quality.

Profumum Roma is all about simple fragrances of high quality and this is a great example of this.

This is just so creamy, balanced and long lasting. That fresh and perky opening which transitions into the creamy almond and dries down to a wonderful almond and ambergris scent that just lasts and lasts. I easily get 12+ hours on skin.

When I wore this in the beginning of summer, I folded up my sunglasses and hung them on the collar of my t-shirt. Weeks later I put those same sunglasses on and was like "What is that amazing smell? Where is it coming from? Is it me?". It was Antico Caruso that was still clinging to my Ray-Bans.

Price is a bit spicy, but if you care about quality, you can't go wrong with this one.

This opens up with a slightly minty feeling in the nose as oud sometimes does. The scent is very subtle and polite and without any hint of barnyard. The oil smells like minty oud with a hint of patchouli and musk. There is also a very slighty green floral note.

This will not offend anyone. Probably not suitible for layering as it is so subtle and any perfume would easily overpower this oil.

Best use I can come up with would be in the evening after a shower when you just want something woody and relaxing in bed.

I am not an expert on oud oils but I have tried a few.

This is a decent oud oil with an opening of hindi barnyard oud which settles into a nice woody oud aroma after a while. The drydown is not as barnyardy as the opening. There is also a hint of fermented fruits and something that reminds me of sandalwood in the base.

Longevity is acceptable at about 6-8 hours on skin. On clothes or beard it is a lot longer and I could smell it the next day on my beard.

Nothing mind-blowing, but if you can get it for a nice price, this is a decent everyday oud oil to layer with a nice perfume.

Ever since I sampled Epic Man I have loved the scent. That dry, green resinous incense is so addictive. The scent reminds me of a temple in the mountains. Cold stone, old wooden furniture and incense smoke in the air with the mountains and forest outside. This fragrance would be perfect for meditation. If it wasn't already obvious, this isn't for clubbing :)

I was tempted to buy a bottle for so long but was hesitant because so many were bashing its longevity. Fast forward to a couple of months ago when a bottle of Epic Man (batch from 2021) was posted for trade in one of the fragrance groups on Facebook. I had became increasingly tired of my bottle of Bracken Man and decided to offer it for trade which was accepted.

Since I got a bottle and after wearing it several times, I can confidently say that the longevity issues are non-existant. The projection is soft after the opening however, but this fragrance just keep on going, creating an aura of airy resinous woods for many hours after application.

Since the opening is quite strong, I assume people think that the entire fragrance dies when it settles. I would however like to challenge this with the classic "shirt test". Spray a couple of sprays on a shirt and leave it in a room and close the door. Come back several hours later, or maybe even the next day, and you will find the room filled with the pleasant, soothing aroma of Epic Man.
