This is a really good Aventus clone if we factor in the price. This is a much better smelling take on the King, for me, if we compare it to the two L'Aventures, CDNIM EDT and LE. And whereas this one smells less smooth in comparison to Swiss Arabian's Intense Pride, for example, the price is just too good for the current juice. Spot on, Rayhaan!

The smell is kind of citrusy-vanilly and lasts a decent amount of time. With that being said, I do not think the numbers on this perfume profile above match the real performance of it. It is a 6.5 or 7 at best, and nothing more.

I'll repeat what someone said: a freshie with character! Beautiful; this has become my signature scent: very versatile, fresh and masculine!

PS: I took the scent score from 9.5 to 8.5 because the harsh beginning is just unbearable; luckily, it fades 2 to 3 minutes after. Nevertheless, this is still a really good and classic perfume. A masterpiece, overall, and the performance does not bother me at all. 10-12 hours on my clothes..

So, for starters the scent profile that Asad Zanzibar has is not at all a favourite scent profile for me, but it is so surprisingly good, I am very happy with this blind buy. Performance and projection is very good. The price is an absolute bargain and should not be missed. This is a very nice scent that Lattafa once again brings to the market, by far the best Middle Eastern house for me, before Armaf, Afnan, Al Haramain, etc.

Don't want to anticipate anything after the huge disappointment from the Limited Edition in terms of performance, but this seems to perform a little bit better at least. More importantly for me, this loses the peppers notes and is purely citrusy/fruity (mostly the former).

Will give it some more time before the final full review. Overall rate (so far): 8.5!

Update: yes, this is much better than the Limited Edition and Edt for me: smell- and performance-wise. The only slight thing that makes it come second in the Aventus DNA war for me so far (Explorer comes first) is the vanilla note... kinda out of place, but not terrible.

For the price and load, this is a no-brainer. The best CDNIM by far for me.

Now, to be honest, I can barely recall Layton because I smelled it off a tester a year ago, and I remember loving it! I tried Detour Noir, however, and apart from the quality gap (in favour of Dusk of course), this is softer, buttery in a light way and absolutely beautiful.

I smelled this at the same time with Luxodor Loyal Agar, the latter is a much nuanced and better produced Detour Noir; it is also slightly stronger than Dusk, but Dusk wins in the versatility test. I can imagine wearing this in all seasons but summer, contrary to Detour Noir and Luxodor. It is really heavenly and very well done for a clone! The price isn't hight at all, too, and the bottle is gorgeous!

Overall rate: 9/10!
