I have had this fragrance as a decant for 3 years now and will only buy it in a full size when I get married. I promised myself that 3 years ago. And of course, I will stick to it. Because this scent is the epitome of clean for me. It smells so beautifully floral, white, clear, and flowery like no other. I find no perfume more fitting than love in white for a man or woman on their big day. That's why I'm waiting a little longer until my big day comes. Then it will complement my collection and create wonderful memories. I am already looking forward to it.

The consumer victim is me once again. I just can't help it. As soon as a fragrance is described as elegant, my fingers are already searching. Just like with Cinema. I've seen the fragrance several times on my favorite TikToker Parfumin and couldn't resist. The way she described it and called it elegant and noble made me need it. Now I'm writing this review to deinfluence you, because I am torn. The opening is very alcoholic and not particularly impressive. I thought to myself: "Oh, another designer fragrance." In the drydown, I actually perceive it as noble but also somewhat old-fashioned. There’s some note that pinches and doesn’t harmonize with my skin at all. Perhaps it’s different on clothing. I find the longevity to be okay but not groundbreaking. I’m just too spoiled by niche perfumes. In summary, I’m not that enthusiastic and expected more. More elegance, more uniqueness. To me, it’s like another designer fragrance, nothing groundbreaking. It’s okay and smells good, but I don’t need to buy it again. I really would have liked it, what a shame…

This fragrance is truly worth a try. The price-performance ratio is excellent. Those who enjoy warm, cozy, and creamy scents will be happy here. I always keep it in my handbag and refresh it from time to time, as it is very close to the skin. I think layered with Dama Bianca by Casamorati, it will also fit very well. Overall, a great perfume oil that can compete with the big brands. A very well-groomed and pleasant scent. I now place it among my beautiful creamy perfumes like: Gentle Fluidity gold, Velvet Gold, and Sunna musk golden dusk. Anyone who has one of these in their collection will not be able to avoid Dhahab.

The house of Maison Francis Kurkdjian stands for incredible quality and elegance. Thus, my beloved gentle fluidity gold. I like to compare this perfume to an angelic scent. Therefore, I was very curious whether velvet gold would come close to this high standard. Because often dupes are distinguishable and not of high quality. And behold: it comes very close. First of all, you open this beautiful bottle, which really stands out from the crowd. With the first spray, I could already detect the almost unmistakable notes of the GFG. But velvet gold is a bit more animalistic, powdery. A layperson might not recognize the difference. In the drydown, it smells just like the GFG and is absolutely hard to distinguish. The longevity is just as good as the original. I now have both in direct comparison and can say that Velvet Gold is a great alternative to gentle fluidity gold. And even those who do not know the "original" will find here an absolutely beautiful scent that lasts long and performs very well for the price. Beautiful and refined, creamy and angelic.

If you're looking for a summer fragrance, you've come to the right place. Such a beautiful fresh, freshly washed scent. Normally, I'm not a fan of fresh, green fragrances and quickly get headaches. But not with this one. It strongly resembles the Palmolive shower gel that you can find in any drugstore. This perfume is simply well-groomed and elegant with great longevity. I received my decant today and will be purchasing it in a larger size right away. This will be my new summer companion. This perfume is suitable for both men and women and doesn't annoy anyone. I'm glad to have stumbled upon it and look forward to my Italian summer with Fiore d‘Olivio.
