Another one has moved in with me, even though I swore I'd had enough for now. You are to blame with your additions ;). All joking aside, I had been looking for a tea fragrance that plays the leading role in a fragrance for a while. I found what I was looking for unexpectedly with this Swedish brand.

Imagine you make yourself a cup of black tea and forget to take out the tea bag. The tea sits there for 3 hours until you happen to see it at the table again and remember: Oh, there was something! That's roughly what this fragrance smells like. Dark, tart and full-bodied. One sniff and you're awake again. It stays like this throughout the fragrance and lasts for around 8 hours, which is great. After hour 6, it is already subtle, but every now and then a cloud of tea comes to the top. The same applies to the sillage, which is totally fine with a 7. More projection would have an intrusive character anyway and I would certainly find it annoying.

I would say it's easy to wear all year round and suits both warm and cold days. Unisex with a slightly more masculine slant.

Conclusion: Full pot of black tea without compromise and so beautiful. I can't understand the overall rating (7.1 as of 09/2025).

Another cracker from Zara. I have to say I'm really impressed by some of Jo Malone's redesigns (bottle with hat) for Zara. I had already expressed my absolute enthusiasm for the N°02 - Bergamot & Leather Spritz. This one is also a real surprise for me in terms of smell, quality and durability.

It opens like a dip in a pool filled with seawater. On the surface of the water float countless exotic flowers in a variety of colors that have fallen from the trees. It smells wonderfully fresh, flowery and salty. As the fragrance progresses, the smell of salt increases and this light floral note remains throughout.

But don't let the floweriness put you off as a man. It really is perfectly wearable unisex. Absolutely great for warmer days ubd say a really fierce radiance. The first few hours you can smell it for 2 meters without overdoing it and it takes up space. As it progresses, the intensity decreases slightly but never falls below half a meter. It lasts for 9 hours plus.

Unfortunately, I don't know whether they have changed the recipe or concentration compared to the old batch, as I didn't know the old ones. Maybe someone who has it can provide comparisons here.

Conclusion: Here you get a lot for very little. Keep it up Zara!!!

Of course, sooner or later a cherry fragrance should not be missing from any product line. If this had been a run-of-the-mill cherry, I would have been disappointed with Marc. It was precisely the fact that it is so torn apart that made me take a closer look at it.

You may think what you like about the fragrance itself, but you can't say anything negative about the quality of the ingredients.

While many cherry fragrances come around the corner artificially, here you have a good load of cherries in the opening, with a certain animalism. These cherries have chest hair, wear moustaches and speak Spanish. I have to smile a little, as cherries are also a male Fallus symbol. Whether this was his inspiration, we don't know. As the fragrance progresses, the cherry fades into the background and the scent becomes more oriental, heavier and deeper.

According to initial tests, it lasts around 9 hours with a good arm's length of sillage, which then fades to half an arm's length over time. I think with some ageing we will have the typical Gebauer H|S. I will keep this in mind.

Verdict: Certainly not his best, but definitely not as bad as he is currently performing. I think over time the score will climb up.

Recently, during our vacation in Denmark, we wanted to take a local brand with us as a souvenir. What other brand would be better than Zarko? None exactly!

No sooner said than done, we tested it out. We particularly liked the Cloud Collection (No.1), but the price would have been too high. But what is that? We got stuck with Youth, which has some parallels to the one just mentioned. Funnily enough, or rather clearly, since a molecular fragrance smells a little different on everyone, peach comes out clearly on me, while my wife smells of melon.

The nice thing about the fragrance is that it is not a crusher. It is a gentle embrace and is always around you without being intrusive. And it really lasts a good 8 hours.

For me, the peach opens, then flowers and a light powdery note join in. It stays like this for the rest of the fragrance. It certainly has a certain feminine side, but not so much that I couldn't wear it.

Conclusion: A beautiful reminder of a vacation and yet pleasantly unobtrusive and gentle.

First of all, I am a big fan of the brand and own a few with great conviction. Furthermore, I have tested a large number and can say that Amouage stands for quality and is top across the board, if it weren't for....

.....ja if it weren't for the Jubilation XXV Man, but let's start with the positive. Here we have the brand's flagship fragrance, which according to its name has a fragrance oil concentration of 25%. It opens Boozy with a good dose of berry punch. This is accompanied by a light, pleasant sweetness. The DD is then slightly wild and smoky. The fragrance is really great and there is nothing to complain about the fragrance itself.

Now we come to the critical part. The longevity is unworthy of Amouage!!! Period!!! It is said to have once been incredibly potent. Unfortunately, this is apparently no longer the case, as several perfumologists have unfortunately confirmed to me. If I rate really generously, we end up with 5 hours maximum. I would have hoped that a little ageing might have made a difference, but after several months of waiting, I'm losing hope. I don't know what happened here, but I wish it was just noseblindness.

The sillage is quite good for the first hour, which is why I give it a slightly higher rating. Nevertheless, it fades very quickly and soon becomes skin deep.

Conclusion: A real disappointment and absolutely atypical for Amouage in terms of H/S.
