A well-deserved vacation at last. Sun, turquoise sea and palm trees.

On the beach, two hermit crabs are fighting bitterly over an empty snail shell, as theirs has apparently become too small. The sweltering heat and humidity quickly take their toll. I climb onto a large rocky outcrop, the waves crashing against the rock below me. One jump and... so incredibly cool and refreshing. I taste and smell the salty water and a group of small fish around me, watching me curiously.

An old fisherman passes me in an even older wooden boat. The smell of wood wafts over to me and mixes with the algae growing on the rocks and the salty sea air.

Simply wonderful! I could stay here for hours and just let myself drift.

Say what you will, I think it's great. Boss has shown in recent years, especially with the dark Bottled like Boss Bottled Absolu Boss Bottled Elixir and also with this one, that they want to and can be at the forefront of the designer segment.

The opening starts slightly sweet, with madarine and something that my nose would attribute to fig and incense. I can't say for sure, but it is precisely this mixture that persists throughout the fragrance and makes it so special for me. I love this slightly greenish, tart fig accord (if it is the fig ;).)

In the drydown, there is a slight woodiness in the background that joins in. However, this is very subtle and minimally underlines the fragrance. I don't smell any leather now.

The durability is ok, although you would expect more from this fragrance combination. But for the price, it's fine.

Conclusion: Boss is good for surprises and despite the fact that it has been around forever, the brand continues to show its modern side.

I don't know why I have strong associations here with the song by Câline Dion (wink) and the sinking Titanic in the cold Atlantic. Probably because of the name and the fact that we have a blue aquatic here, which is very cool and clean.

The color and the bottle go well with the simplicity of the fragrance. Ideal for in between to smell clean and pure. For me, therefore, an ideal sports fragrance. Not least because I find the half-life rather average. But what more do you need for sporting activities?

For the price, you can't go far wrong with this fragrance and, if necessary, you can spray it more often without hurting your wallet

This fragrance was released as a women's fragrance in 2021 and discontinued some time later. in 2025, it is now celebrating its comeback as a men's fragrance in a new bottle but with the same ingredients. Only the fragrance pyramid has been slightly modified.

I have to admit that I have a weakness for leather fragrances, but I have never experienced anything like this before. This combination of citrus and a strong bitter note. And the leather is simply unbelievably cool. I don't smell Dior Homme at all and I don't find it powdery either. I have to admit, it caught me cold and I never thought I would ever give a Zara fragrance a 10/10.

It won me over across the board. Even the longevity and sillage are amazing. Clearly perceptible after 24 hours. As it progresses, it becomes a little smokier, but the bitter note and the leather remain throughout. I find it more masculine as a result. The bottle is well made and has a magnetic closure.

Conclusion: Thank you for this unique fragrance. My discovery of 2025.

First of all, I have to say that I had a great experience in the LV store. I was able to test at my leisure and even received a handful of samples at the end.

I mainly tested the usual suspects like Imagination Afternoon Swim L'Immensité etc. without giving much thought to the rest. After umpteen fragrances, you won't know up from down anyway.

Thank goodness the LV Lovers was included in the samples. When I sprayed it on at home, I was just blown away. I knew if I bought an LV it would be this one. It's so extraordinary and crazy that it's incredibly cool again.

Right from the start, you're hit with a fierce citrus, from the spicy ginger on the one hand and the bitter bergamot on the other. So tart that it makes my hair stand on end. Imagine putting a piece of fresh ginger and lemon in your mouth and chewing on it. The whole thing is carried in the base by woods, which give the fragrance the necessary balance and warmth and make it incredibly balanced.

The longevity is wicked. 3 days later, I still had it clearly on my shirt and could still detect it, albeit slightly. For my part, I therefore feel the durability is severely underrated.

The sillage, on the other hand, is good but more moderate and that's a good thing, otherwise the irritation would blow my fuses.

Conclusion: An absolutely crazy fragrance that suits my craziness perfectly. If you too are crazy enough, then definitely check it out.
