The first Tom Ford that disappoints!
I am really a big Tom Ford fan (See picture)
I think he has then with his first drop (Oud Wood, Tobacco Vanilla) set a standard that inspires the niche world to this day.
Full of joy so I currently rattle off the Cologneartigen Private blend fragrances.
The Sole di Positano is one of them.
To the fragrance: After spraying on comes directly a floral-fresh note to the nose, which smells a very small little Synthetisch and somehow Unfertig.
But I think nothing of it and give the drydown the next chance. Finally after 15-20 minutes again dran gerochen and ? .... Still the same floral freshness that just smells strongly of ylang ylang and jasmine. This continues so the next few hours until it completely evaporates.
Sole di Positano is for me very linear and unfortunately not at all complex which would not be bad but since we are talking about 150-300 euros, you should be able to perceive something more than ylang ylang and some jasmine. To compare to the other private blend fragrances, this one unfortunately does not come close.
Each of the citrus fragrances of Tom Ford has its raison d'être.
The Mandarino di Amalfi which has a perfect balance between fresh mint, orange blossom and tangerine.
The Neroli Portofino Forte which is a Cologne 4711 on steroids and I would always prefer it to a Cologen because it lasts much longer.
The Costa Azzurra which reflects that salty sea breeze.

But the Sole di Positano just smells floral fresh with a touch synthetic.
The Sillage vorallem is unfortunately very bad with me, you get him only to smell if you go very close with the nose.
In all, unfortunately, the first Tom Ford fragrance that has disappointed me but fortunately there are enough others in which I enjoy.

I thank you if you have read to the end :)

When expectations are too high
Mystical, dark, mysterious came to mind when I first saw this bottle on Parfumo. With such a high rating, the fragrance could only be one of the best on the market.
Full of joy I rattled off every perfumery for this fragrance, in vain. In my city there were so some places where Armani Prive was to be found.
Where are you Cuir Majeste I asked myself. When I then noticed that Armani Prive now and then times limited fragrances rausbrachte and the Cuir Majeste was one of them.
1000 euros and upwards people put down for this kind of fragrances and they were usually sold out immediately. I didn't stand a chance.
After months of vain search I had then discovered the souk where people sold bottlings. Lightning came to me the Cuir Majeste in the sense and I had him finally found.

Thanks to @Kitho for the bottling who owns one of the most impressive collections I've ever seen.
The bottling arrived in the mail and I couldn't wait, the long search was finally over. I sprayed it on my arm, waited a few seconds and was ready for one of the top rated fragrances on Parfumo.
So nose to arm and? ................... hmm.
I detect a very oriental incense note .... but something is bothering me. Disillusionment is slowly spreading in my heart. All the anticipation and excitement were lost, the scent was just "good".
Did I have about too high expectations? Would I like the fragrance better if I had not gone on this long search?
The perfume is a decent oriental fragrance that many would like, but I find, for example, the Oud Royal by Armani prive much better. I think I set my expectations way too high when I saw this bottle, the reviews and the description.

In this case, the journey was the destination. It was fun to "hunt" the fragrance, but if the expectations are too high, one is then only disappointed in the end.

"Silverwood" - The name says it all
First of all, I do not know exactly what to say about this fragrance. I do not know yet whether I like it now or not. But first of all, I have ordered a filling and sprayed directly times on the arm. Now what do I smell ... One notices as the very first how softly powdery this fragrance is nevertheless it wraps the skin which is very pleasant BUT in this regard there are of course point deductions with the sillage. I smell the iris out at the beginning, a somewhat powdery reminiscent of iris. After a few minutes, I perceive a very metallic "silver" note, which disturbs me ...?
I'm not sure. This is underpinned with woody leathery components again. The name "silver wood" is actually program here. I'm impressed how perfumers get such compositions, that's quite remarkable.
The question is now but ... I want to smell so??
I mean do not get me wrong the name "Bois d'Argent" is well taken and that is I think a masterpiece of perfumery art, but I'm not sure if I really lies this kind of fragrance. Nevertheless, I will give it a chance and maybe it will grow on me.
The durability is above average but the sillage is rather weak, which is good because the fragrance would otherwise be much too heavy and would cause headaches.
A blind purchase I would therefore not recommend but a test recommendation there is from me all the time.

The smell of the world!
I was really looking forward to this scent at the time after seeing the advertisement where a guy on a motorbike rides the country roads of Italy. Unfortunately I was disappointed !
A fresh woody shower fragrance that you have smelled everywhere before. Don't get me wrong, when a newcomer to perfume tests this fragrance, I think he will be blown away by how good it is. But if you get a little more into the matter, you will label this scent as a "common scent". Or as a good friend of mine said, a "main thing - don't stink" scent. The EDP didn't knock me out either, so people don't even try it, there are far better candidates in the price range

From male to female
The beginning of Bleu Lazuli is quite sharp in the nose. Shortly afterwards you can smell the pleasant honey tobacco and underneath the nicely spicy cardamom. A real spicy men's scent but still not obtrusive. Unfortunately it then gradually turns into a sweet vanilla cloud with a hint of honey. The spicy tobacco scent from the beginning has unfortunately gone and a, yet beautiful sweet honey-vanilla note is recognizable. But this is no longer masculine at all and unfortunately it becomes feminine. The word unisex has been taken a bit too literally here I suppose. D
In my opinion, the fragrance is therefore an elegant women's fragrance that starts very spicy but ends sweetly
