Almost round.
I've been tigering around this scent for over a year now. The first splash was: Wow! He lives up to his name, and in most cases he is a role model for exactly what the créateur had in mind. And it is obvious that Blanche is associated with "clean" and "pure". And yet I was bothered by a little something, applying to everyone and everyone. It's the sandalwood. Fragrances in which the sandalwood is strongly interspersed remind me of the vomit of babies. However, it is so small that one can almost hide this one component in view of the overall construct. End of the song: I finally bought it, don't regret it and like it very much. Only the Sillage leaves something to be desired, it would like to be refreshed after four hours please.

It's that time of the year..
Finally the days are getting cooler again and Oud Wood can let it crack again. I had to ask a good friend indiscreetly what he was wearing... I indulged myself in this gold piece. Normally the application of oud fragrances ends with me feeling like I've been soaking in pig excrement but this one remains pleasantly solid, very present but consistently pleasant. Not an exclusive men's scent! One splash is enough to make it through the day, the Sillage is bombastic! Great scent for cold days.

Probably the worst since White Linen
I was pretty happy when the City Exclusives of Le Labo reached me. Besides the highlights there is also Poivre 23. In general every fragrance lands on a Kleenex, I found it strong, sweet but "interesting" and wanted to give it a chance. Whatever rode me that morning, I sprayed a splash on his neck and smelled it so intensely even with a headwind... it was holiday time, an autumn day and the temperatures allowed me to have breakfast outside. I made two attempts to wash down the scent in the toilet, I had the food wrapped up because I couldn't get anything down... the next course into a French pharmacy where I tried to make it clear to the saleswoman that I needed something with a lot of alcohol to get the stuff down. Alcohol-soaked disinfectant wipes were the salvation and it became much more irritating. Pepper: yes. Unfortunately paired with this intrusive sweetness. Not for the delicate.
