Welcome to my new series "Who is stronger than Dewo". In this series, I will introduce you to fragrances with remarkably strong longevity and sillage. Whether the fragrances are good or not, you will find out afterwards.
About the fragrance:
The fragrance smells like the strongest sea breeze you can imagine. Imagine standing by the sea, close to the water and smelling the sea, but this x10. That's roughly how you can describe the fragrance. Even though no fragrance notes are listed, I perceive something herbaceous in combination with ambroxan. You could say this is a herbaceous and aquatic Dior Sauvage. Except that it is not suitable as a crowdpleaser.
Longevity and sillage:
I have never worn a fragrance as strong as this one in my life. Every oriental super oud smell looks away when Megamare enters the ring. Just avoid eye contact or he'll want to fight. I sprayed 5x because I didn't take the warnings seriously. The result was that I was insulted by some people. He still stayed on my car seatbelt for 3 weeks, so other relatives didn't want to get in my car as he was still very much represented. If you just want attention and you don't care if people like it or not, there you go! Megamare, the strongest beast in the cage.
Stronger than Dewo?
Many people talk about the fact that there are simply no summer fragrances that perform well. Megamare is so strong, maybe it will last all summer? That sentence alone is enough to describe the performance. Dewo admits defeat, Dewo is exhausted, Dewo has been insulted. Please don't do it again.

Fat announcement V
After months, there's another fat announcement. This time, the announcement is not just against a single fragrance, but against two. I'm talking about Bleu de Chanel (EdT) and Rosso Pompei by Tiziana Terenzi.
Fragrance:
The Blue begins its opening with a qualitative prelude. The mandarin paired with amber and musk stand out clearly, with no synthetic conspicuousness. On the contrary, it smells very natural, high-quality and sophisticated. It is as if a high-end niche fragrance has been sprayed on (although many niche fragrances even have synthetic openings). The fragrance develops into a citrusy clean ambroxan bomb within 30 minutes. Although ambroxan is not mentioned in the fragrance pyramid, the Blue makes it seem like it has an ample amount of it. The fragrance does what Bleu de Chanel is supposed to do - a clean citrusy-woody scent that is suitable for everyday wear. The Blue was probably inspired by Rosso Pompei or Tygar (Bvlgari). Nonetheless, the first spray reminded me of BdC and screamed "I'm better than him!". And indeed it is, as it brings a more defined citric-woody accord. Blue is far superior to BdC and a good and affordable alternative to Rosso Pompei and Tygar.
Shelf life:
It is perfect for summer because it lasts at least 5-7 hours on warm days. With the low price, you can of course carry it with you and spray it again as needed. Also gladly seen/smelled in the office.
Sillage:
The sillage makes a very good impression. You will get 2 types of reactions for this fragrance based on the sillage: Reaction 1: - None - | Reaction 2: - Your next ones will not be able to keep their noses off you. You will be annoyed as to why you smell so good. Intrusiveness pre-programmed - . There is nothing in between and I have had no other experiences. After 5 hours, however, the sillage (unfortunately) cools down. If the fragrance would only bring a full 10 hours of reaction no.2, then it would be my absolute signature fragrance.
Flacon:
The bottle is more creative than that of BdC, Rosso Pompei and Tygar. Honestly, where have you ever seen a bottle shaped like this? It is also beautifully heavy and elegantly printed. The sprayer also does a great job, because it doesn't hold back. You can already speak of a niche level. The OVP is also very successful, thanks to the beautifully soft box in which the Blue sleeps.
Big announcement:
If you like BdC, Rosso Pompei and Tygar, you definitely won't go wrong here. Especially at this price (currently around €34). The Blue is a better and higher-quality version of BdC (EdT) and also fulfills the requirement of being an all-rounder. It is very similar to Rosso and Tygar, but experienced noses would be able to smell the difference (although in my opinion, they shouldn't be worlds apart).

Fragrance:
The fragrance represents the image of a full-grown man. It has that "uncle note". By that I mean: that one moment in childhood when a man hugged his uncle and thought to himself "he always smells so good". To describe it to you in more detail, it goes in the direction of a shaving foam, but not the sharp/fresh part, but the sweet part. This is combined with tonka bean, cinnamon, vanilla and iris. The fragrance is fresh and sweet as well as spicy and creamy. It is suitable for every occasion. From spring to winter. From office to brawl. From young to old. A niche all-rounder, and therefore also the rarer kind of niche. So far also one of the fresh niche fragrances that I find rather positive (because most of the others are a slightly modified version of designer fragrances).
Longevity: For a fresh niche fragrance, 8hrs of longevity is not a big challenge (respect). I can also imagine it lasting longer.
Sillage: The sillage is at a gentleman's level. What does that mean? You don't need a radiation suit to protect yourself, but you can feel it throughout. I love it. Because many fragrances lead to scent blindness after a while. This one doesn't.
Value for money: I can imagine that there are one or two designers who go in a similar direction. But if you're looking for something exclusive, you've come to the right place. Unfortunately, the price here only justifies the name of the brand.
I can't say anything about the bottle as I only have a sample.

First about the fragrance: The One is one of the best designers on the market. Yes yes, I know, it has shower gel DNA. The smoker, but is clearly different from the other mainstream designers. By mixing it with the orange blossom and tobacco, you get a DNA that is very popular (as far as I've experienced it myself) until the drydown. I don't know any lady who finds this fragrance negative. Just as I don't know any men who feel this way. However, fragrance notes such as coriander and cardamom remained inconspicuous for me.
Longevity:
I HAVE CHOSEN THE ONE BECAUSE:
Sprayed it on today at 3pm, it's almost 2am and I can still smell the fragrance. In my opinion, one of the designers who perform better. Unfortunately, I am the exception to many fans. I wish you had had the same experience.
But by the way, I must also mention that other The One bottles also performed well on me.
Sillage:
The fragrance cloud is on a solid scale. You won't take over a room with it or be smelled all the way to Africa, but people next to me still notice the fragrance. It is at a relatively normal level.
Flacon:
A slightly more creative box this time. Here you have a nice mix between black and orange (which I like. You can also work well with the sprayer.
To summarize, I can recommend this fragrance to anyone who is on a budget but can't quench their thirst for perfume. At the price, you can also carry the fragrance with you if it doesn't perform. It is also worth buying blind.
