Smelled Familiar to Another Popular Fragrance
Zaharoff Citrine is a nice smelling summertime fragrance from Zaharoff however it reminded a lot of another fragrance in my collection. I could not put my finger on what it reminded me of and then yesterday I figured it out that it smelled nearly identical to Dior Homme Cologne which isn't necessarily a bad thing or a good thing if you think about it. I love the Dior Homme line so that's why I don't have an issue with the scent but knowing that I have a redundant fragrance like this isn't what I had in mind when I purchased Citrine. When you factor in the price point then just buy DHC and save some cash.
Unpopular opinion here but Zaharoff Signature Collection fragrances are highly overrated to me. I did like the Zedcreators Collection fragrances and the new Basileus Collection.

Linear Rose Bomb
My first impressions of this scent isn't exactly great. Rose fragrances are a dime a dozen so most of the time it's a been there and done that scenario. This fragrance is no different as it is a rose bomb that is pretty linear to me so I was really disappointed. I think the whole Rose themed fragrances is way overdone at this point especially Rose and Oud combinations. This one reminded me of Mancera Black to Black but if I am going to pick one I would go with the Mancera before this one and not only from a price point perspective but a fragrance one. I am going to let my bottle macerate as some of the Argos fragrances get better with age and the individual notes become more pronounced.
If you are a fan of rose fragrances definitely get a sample but I would pick one of the Zaharoff Rose offerings or the Mancera Black to Black before this one.

Signature Scent Worthy
First and foremost I love this house and this offering is no exception. There's a lot going on with this fragrance from the fruits in the top accords to the gourmand dry-down that is enhanced with the vanilla and amber base notes which has lasted a good 9 hours and I am still projecting. I would put this one up there with Triumph Of Bacchus Extrait and Danae if you want to smell like a million bucks. It is as close to perfection as a person can get and usually with Argos fragrances they smell even better after they have macerated awhile. Definitely signature scent worthy...
Not Going to be Everyone's Cup of Tea
This is by far the most challenging Argos fragrance released to date and definitely different than TOB, Danaë, and Adonis Awakens. The opening to me was very off putting with a sharp, camphorous, resinous, animalistic, medicinal top notes of labdanum and oakmoss. After letting my bottle macerate for months I decided to try this one again and to my surprise some of the rough edges had softened and I enjoyed it much better than when I originally purchased it. Now is it my favorite from the house? No. Argos has so many great fragrances it would be hard to beat the ones I previously mentioned but I can see this one growing on me.
Only people who love dark foreboding leather type fragrances will appreciate this one and only suitable for very cold weather. Once it reaches the base notes it really turns into something special. In conclusion, I love this brand and the attention to details from the packaging to the wonderful bottles that are a work of art. This wasn't love at first sniff for me but it is an acquired taste and definitely got better after it macerated.

The name said it all...
I don't know what I was expecting here but damn...this smells like a cross between singed hair and singed skunk. I guess the name was correct but I had taken it as a joke so I guess the joke is on me. What a stench this stuff puts off and a total waste of money except for the novelty of saying you own this fragrance. A total waste of money so that's on me for getting this one. I really don't see anyone actually liking this mess.
The only thing I like is the bottle and nothing else.
