A fruit basket without depth
Fruity fragrances are at the heart of the art of perfumery. Thanks to new production methods and synthetic fragrances, fruity notes are experiencing a new bloom in the perfume world.

Nowadays it is almost impossible to find a perfume that contains real extracted lemon, lime or fruit. This must also be the case with Pacific Chill. Louis Vuitton is not going for all-natural but a good mix of synthetic fragrances. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but expectations must be set.

The fragrance starts with a tart apricot which is accompanied by a basket of fruit that can be rearranged. Citrus notes resonate, especially in the first half hour. The light green notes also provide a really beautiful opening. I barely notice the sweet notes of dates and figs. The sweetness only becomes noticeable after half an hour. In general, however, it can be said that the fragrance is not complex but simply disappears quickly. After three hours, there is no longer any sillage.

The bottles are typical Louis Vuitton. However, the green color and the color gradient are adapted to the fragrance and fit aesthetically into any collection.

P/L is Louis Vuitton usual rather mediocre. For the durability, the perfume is definitely more expensive than it should be.

The Pacific Chill must be tested and can add a good summer fragrance to a collection.

A fragrance for suits
Suits need dark, mystical and masculine fragrances. The Myrrh & Tonka by Jo Melone combines these characteristics with a fragrance DNA that is not unique, but good.

Shortly after spraying it on, a dark lavender scent settles on the clothes. This is not particularly natural, I don't feel like I'm standing in a lavender field. It's more like smelling a spice jar with lavender buds. This spiciness quickly fades and is replaced by the typical combination of warmth, sweetness and darkness. The base of spicy myrrh remains for a long time. At the end, myrrh, vanilla and tonka bean blend into a soft darkness that lasts for an entire evening.

Performance and silage are good, but not overwhelming. The bottle fulfills its purpose and is appropriate for the price. The price/performance ratio is good, although the quality of the ingredients is not excessive.

The fragrance is comparable in its applicability to perfumes such as Black Gemstone or Tobacco Vanille Eau de Parfum

The Myrrh & Tonka is suitable as a chic evening fragrance for men and is worth a test.
