Sunshine in a bottle
This was a very generous Christmas present from my mom. As I have worn Soleil Blanc over the past few months, I have become utterly smitten. True to it's name, Soleil Blanc feels like summer sunshine in a bottle. This scent is absolutely beautiful. Soft, sweet, and creamy it feels very feminine. I actually think this would make an incredible bridal scent. There's something a little demure and very romantic about Soleil Blanc.

Having worn it both in colder and warmer weather, I think I prefer it on warmer days. While it performs perfectly fine on cold days and could be worn year round, there is just something intoxicating about how the scent opens up on warm days.

This is one of the only perfumes I own with such a dominant tuberose note and it makes me want to explore the note more.

Smells nice, Gave me a rash
I quite liked this scent. It smelled like a strawberry shortcake slathered in fresh cream. Her Elixir is also one of those scents that can truly be worn any time and anywhere. It's feminine and pulled together. Overall, I really liked how this smelled.

However, it gave me a rash. I am, admittedly slightly allergic to strawberries so I always knew this was a risk but I was hopeful the perfume would be far enough removed from the actual fruit to try it. My own fault and I think if you aren't allergic to strawberries and are looking for a strawberry scent, this is a really nice one to pick up. The packaging is cute too.

Refreshing Gin & Tonic
I have spent like a year spraying this fragrance everytime I go to the store, but I finally pulled the trigger. I see it's apparently not for everyone based on the comments but I find this to be a great spring/summer scent.

The cucumber and juniper berry gives me distinct gin and tonic, but the cucumber also evokes nostalgia for my middle school years when I doused myself in B&BW Cucumber Melon body spray and lotion. Though the cucumber note here lasts around for the full duration of wear, I find the juniper berries give way to a sort of unique rose. The rose gives me the feeling of poutperie or dried rose petals floating in a bowl of water. There's something simultaneously diffuse, blurry and watery about this rose. It is not a crisp rose but neither is it heavy. Some may call it musty, but I wouldn't go that far.

Performance is average. About 5 hours on skin, a little longer on clothes but not much. Also worth noting I adore the packaging. That bottle, the green juice...I love everything about it. For me, Roses on Ice is a real winner and a lovely, refreshing spring/summer freshie.

Orange groves
I fell head over heels for this scent. I tested it head to head against the very popular Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic. It should be said, both scents are excellent bright refreshing oranges, but Orange Soleia wins for me on a few counts and is the orange Aqua Allegoria for me.

Firstly, I like the tartness from the blood orange here. While there is a touch of sweetness, I would say the effect is more an orange peel rather than a candied soft or sweet fruit. Some oranges turn sour on my skin, but this was not the case with either Mandarine Basilic or Orange Soleia. I also much prefer the mint note in Orange Soleia over the basil in Mandarine Basilic. I find it helps give an overall effect of sipping on an aperol spritz in the summer. The pink pepper and woody notes are subtle but present and gives some strength and grounding to Orange Soleia. For me the effect of Orange Soleia is just more refreshing than Mandarine Basilic.

Performance is not great, but it is an EDT so I expect it to be lighter. I get about 1.5-2 hrs on skin and around 5 on clothes with a very intimate projection. Still, this is a scent that makes me happy to reapply it and as an orange dominant spring/summer freshie I think Orange Soleia is just incredible. It was available at a really affordable price point too.

Orange Creamsicle
I am currently on the hunt for the perfect clean orange blossom perfume. Reviewing based off of a sample and in store testing so I don't have an intimate knowledge of the scent but this can be treated as a first impression review.

This is a charming and cheery orang creamsicle type of scent. I wasn't expecting for it to be so powdery and that surprised me on first spray. As far as clean orange blossoms go, this is a very good one, though it does have a bit of a vintage-Granny vibe to it. The type of scent that's perfect for just out of the shower or even before bed. Performance was solid and I got about 6 hours. It maintained a very consistent scent profile throughout the entire wear -- soft, fresh orange blossom and powder. I also think because of the powderiness, this is something that could be worn year round.

I am not pulling the trigger yet on a full bottle as I am testing other orange blossoms first, but I did like this. Pretty, feminine, clean.
