Rouge Smoking bdk Parfums 2018 Eau de Parfum

I sometimes like to associate certain scents with songs and their vibe. “Lana Del Rey - Cherry” is the song that comes to mind when I smell Rouge Smoking. When [or rather if] you listen, I hope you can see my vision. If you know LDR, you know that she’s got a lot of angles to her. She can be sweet, but she can be spicy, and she definitely gives cigarette vibes. She can be soft but she can also be intense. She’s definitely complex and not everyone’s cup of tea. The same can be said for Rouge Smoking.

RS is a vanilla forward scent, with a notable top cherry note. The pink pepper adds some spice, and the labdanum adds smoke. It’s such a gorgeous blend and the Tonka is what gives it that “coca-cola” vibe. It’s quite seductive actually. Perfect in the fall and winter, although I wish the sillage and longevity were a bit more.

As a someone who loves eating cherries but not necessarily smelling like them, this is easily my favorite cherry perfume. The red juice, the name, the scent itself, it all perfectly characterizes the charm of this cherry baddie.

Blown away on 2nd attempt! Did not like this when I first tried it because the cherry went all cough syrup on me. Left it for more than a year before trying again and I immediately ordered a bottle. Rouge Smoking makes me feel sexy and sultry but also bossy! I can see this on date nights, solo or accompanied! The projection is not the strongest so someone would need to come close to smell it, and this is ok with me. Lasts a long time but sits closer to the skin. I’d like to think it can be worn year-round but on my skin, it shines in cool weather. Dressy, sexy, and perfect! 10/10 and a repurchase!

I’m not sure how else to describe it, it smells like medical grade cleaning supplies and cherry flavored toothpaste or mouthwash.
Makes me feel like a kid at the orthodontist again and I’m getting my braces worked on
I swear I can even smell the rubber bands that go around the brackets and the flowers that the receptionists kept at the front desk
With that being said there is something pleasant about it, like if I smelled it on someone else I wouldn’t be mad about it, just not for me

Absolutely amazing cherry scent!! The cherry is extremely well blended and is super addictive. Usually, I don’t like fragrances with a cherry note, but this one is really delicious.

I have worn this in cooler weather and received many compliments. In my opinion, it is quite an intoxicating fragrance and very memorable. Performance is excellent and absolutely full bottle worthy.

Hello there Fragrance Friends! So I was super excited to try this after watching MANY YouTube videos of fragrance influencers who utterly RAVED about Rouge Smoking!. I love cherries, anything cherry flavored and I love the scent of cherries!! So I finally pull the trigger on my newly acquired sample and spray it anticipating a cloud of beauty!! Oh how I was letdown, such a huge disappointment!! It smelled just like mothballs to my nose. It was giving "granny vibes". I hate to use that term but it smells like the closet of an senior citizen who has had clothes hanging for decades that the grandkids could never convince her to take down to the Salvation Army. I didn't find this fragrance feminine which is what I was expecting and hoping for. It's definitely a masculine leaning scent. Full blown cologne energy. Not sweet at all in my opinion. However the color of the juice is a beautiful Rose' wine pink color with a hint more of red in it so that was nice. Thanks for reading!!
