Love at the Third Sniff
I acquired this fragrance as a decant based on a recommendation from my colleague, and I was not impressed at all during the first wear. I quite liked the scent DNA, but I couldn't confirm that this fragrance lasts long.
Naturally, I was annoyed and disappointed, although I was happy that I had "only" gotten a decant, as a blind buy would have been much worse.
When I wanted to give it a second chance, I approached it without any prejudices:
I wore a suit and was scheduled for a business meeting.
I applied the fragrance only on my skin and NOT on my textile, as I have often experienced that less is sometimes more, and our noses tend to give in faster the more we apply. (Scent blindness)
Then, on a mild, cloudy day, as I stepped out of my house and got into my car, I was overwhelmed by love for this fragrance to the point that I didn't know what was happening.
Woody notes, paired with citrus and pepper. However, everything is very, very, very unobtrusive!
Sometimes you smell the fragrance, sometimes you don’t. People around you smell it sometimes, then again they don’t. The perfect variation for serious meetings in a suit. I absolutely cannot stand it when someone in the room smells so strongly of perfume that the entire room smells like that person. Many people ruin a scent for me this way. Can we already talk about a kind of scent abuse? Well… That’s why this fragrance is anything but loud, yet people notice it, and of course, so do I.
It goes so far that I can still smell this fragrance in the evening, but very discreetly, now and then :)
Since yesterday, I am a proud owner of this masterpiece and can truly say that it is my absolute favorite for the office!
Give it a second or even a third chance. You won’t regret it :)

A Hint of Nothing! Reformulated???
This is my first fragrance from Aaron. After participating in a sharing, I could hardly wait to test this scent. At least the statements about this fragrance speak a clear language.
Amazing performance & a beautiful DNA. I was curious!
When I first applied the fragrance, I was thrilled. I love iris, and it definitely does not hold back here. A dry, powdery iris that comes across as very elegant and understated. I like.
However, here comes the point that actually shocked me: the sillage and the performance. I can barely perceive this fragrance for 3-4 hours. Moreover, I have a circle of friends who always comment on fragrances when I wear them, especially when they are scents that project and last long. Nothing was said about this fragrance. At first, I thought this scent makes you blind, which unfortunately is common with some fragrances. During a nice evening with my guys, the question actually arose as to why I wasn’t wearing a fragrance that evening, as it is usually customary for my friends to get new fragrance inspirations from me.

Fragrance development: The iris remains present the entire time and is united in the drydown with tonka bean and vanilla, while the iris is clear and always in the foreground. Otherwise, there is nothing more to say about this DNA, which is really not a bad thing. The unfortunate part is that the contrast between the performance and sillage stated here on Parfumo does not match my experiences at all. Of course, noses are different, but on average, the fragrance has a performance rating of 9.1??? That can only have one reason: that the fragrance has been reformulated. I really can't imagine anything else.

Interesting Concept
Curious as I am, I ordered this fragrance from a company that is making waves on social media. Even though I usually fall for these kinds of purchases and keep telling myself that I won’t do it again, it happens to me time and again… You probably know exactly what I mean.
I actually found the concept quite interesting. An oil that combines skincare and perfume.
Upon applying it to my skin, I immediately noticed that this product is really something completely different from the perfumes we usually deal with on this platform. It is indeed an oil and not a watery substance that you apply. Once spread on both hands, I "creamed" my entire neck and throat. The scent DNA of this fragrance actually reminds me of Erba Pura - Xerjoff.
I really hoped that this company is not just another one of those countless fragrance twin companies that advertise being better than some original perfume for 40€. Luckily, they don’t do that. Still, this DNA is very well-known.
The scent progression is quite linear, yet very pleasant. It actually smells very natural and not sharply synthetic, which positively surprised me. The longevity and sillage are also really good at 8-10 hours, with the scent comfortably lingering in the background and never being too overpowering.
Even though I wouldn’t have expected it, I can recommend this fragrance! I’m curious to read more reviews about it.

Captain Fragrance Tree
During the coffee break at 11,000 meters, I always go to the galley and enjoy chatting with my pretty colleagues who are responsible for the service on board.
Statement from the first colleague: "Finally, a man who smells good!"
Statement from the second colleague: "What is the wonderful fragrance you are wearing?"
Statement from the captain: "Do you have a fragrance tree hanging around here? If so, where is it hiding?"
It has even gone so far that the captain mentions during the typical welcome announcement to the passengers that it smells particularly good up front and draws attention to our perfume offers in the on-board magazine for those who want to smell just as good. "If I am now responsible for higher sales through perfumes, I want a commission."

Since then, I have been called "the fragrance tree" in the company, and in the morning greeting, all my colleagues are happy to spend the workday with me.

I bought the fragrance specifically for work, as I first smelled it on a plane in 2012 on my way to vacation and fell in love with it immediately. What fascinates me particularly is the fact that this fragrance harmonizes wonderfully with the typical airplane smell that you always perceive when boarding a plane. (Of course, it's a matter of taste)
It is fresh-sweet and actually fits all occasions in every season. The longevity is enormous for me and definitely lasts through an 8-hour day without any problems. And as you can see, everyone around me notices the scent. Compliments are guaranteed, and everyone also recognizes the quality that is typical of Chanel. Definitely my work fragrance No. 1 and for many more years to come.

See/smell you on the next flight when First Officer "Fragrance Tree" is present. ✈
