A universal black tea
My first encounter with the brand Le Labo was during a travel to US where I started at a Hotel of the chain Fairmont and found their shower gels and shampoos to be the fragrance Rose from Le Labo. Years later I walked into a Le Labo store in Milan and decided to purchase one of these fragrances. My selection Fall on The Noir as I has always been looking for a good tea-based fragrance. The Noir here can cover you same in warm as well as in cold conditions. It has a tea scent which clearly references to an darker and greener leave however has also a couple of additional notes which carry’ and support the tea but never overwhelmes it.

Old school with a modern twist
I bought Creed Viking in a time where I also enjoyed Aventus and wanted to experience a little more of this well known perfume brand. For me Viking stands similar for 2 things. On the one side a very classic baber shop fragrance which reminds you of the scent of your father or more grandfather, on the other side this is added by a spicy ingredient which very well picks up the 2 pepper notes from the ingredients list. However from my experience with Viking the freshness is going away after like 2h and then you remain with the barber shop. You might think of Creed what you want - however I experienced now Viking and aventus but I think I will not go further in this journey. Price vs quality is way better with other brands.

Oud for Greatness.. nothing and everything at the same time
In the beginning of my perfume journey Initio Oud for Greatness was really one of my most awaited purchases (in the end I got in a bundle with its smaller sister Oud for Hapiness) and I bought it as an alternative to the classic Oud Fragrances from Xerjoff. How much of it is real oud is for me difficult do judge but I would describe OfG as a very potent and expressive fragrance to wear during Autumn and Winter. From my experience it has a very linear scent journey however performance remains for a very good 12h. I would buy again - however I Think the bottle will last for multiple years :D

Smelling like fragranced candel.. but could not be done better!
I remember that I tried Sintra first as a tester and was in aw with its warmness and width. Before you spray you can see in the tester it’s warm and dark-honey like colour and this is altogether how the fragrance is perceived. It has a very warum expressions which can be deemed a little artificial in the beginning but really unfolds after some minutes of wear. I gave Sintra to a friend to test and he told me it smelled like fragranced candels - at the beginning I was offended but he was right and I found that I can like it nevertheless.

Light wood with a little extra
Byredo Super Cedar is in my opinion a very light noted woody fragrance. The impression is very positive when tested on paper however as wearer unfortunately I didn’t experience much of it. The fragrance itself can be deemed as light woody with cedar, some also light earth notes but overall on a very nice and fresh side versus other heavier derivates from this fragrance family. Can be deemed as a good fit specifically in reference to the appropriate price point.
