I've had this fragrance in my collection on and off since the turn of the millennium. But then, for whatever reason, I haven't bought it in recent years.
Recently I saw it in a huge bottle (200ml) for a bargain price and simply ordered it. I thought to myself: "Oh well, for every day in the office, you can't really go wrong."
Yes...and then it happened. First, my daughter overheard two young women on the morning train ride making very positive comments about my fragrance. "Wow, she smells really great, that woman there"
And then yesterday my dentist, when I entered the treatment room: "What smells so good here...is that you??"
I'm really surprised...I've never been asked about Tommy Girl before. Maybe my skin chemistry changed during the menopause...who knows???
About the fragrance itself: At the beginning, I actually perceive a fruity synthetic. But then it becomes very clean, but not pungent. A pleasant freshness remains throughout, and I see white flowers and citrus fruits.
In any case, I'm glad to have it back in my collection.

I love it in department stores to browse through the perfumery department (probably knows no one here, the feeling). Almost always I buy something (you would not have expected it now :) ) and usually you get a sample. So also with my after-purchase "Bottega Veneta (Eau de Parfum) | Bottega Veneta". Arrived at home so only once sprayed: *damn axe* ...looked again on the tag to be sure. It smells at the beginning really very much like "Fahrenheit Parfum | Dior" . Since my hubby owns this fragrance, I sprayed it on my other wrist and enjoyed the comparison.
Both have that beautiful leather accord. Both have something peppery, only Simply then becomes feminine rounder and fruity floral. i notice violets and the woody note clearly. Fahrenheit remains with the prominent leather note and floral little.
For me, a fragrance for autumn / winter because it is quite intense and at high temperatures just like his male doppelganger possibly slays.

You always put me in a good mood and makes the little girl in me light up. Thank you for your closeness and the comforting in you. A dreamlike fragrance to escape the world.

In the same year (1995!!!Am I old!!!) I bought this fragrance for the first time, immediately fell hard in love and it has never moved out. I love it - period. There is a uniqueness about it. You can immediately tell when someone is wearing 1881. Elegant and timeless, my first big perfume love.

There are fragrances that make you feel like they've always been around. For me, these include 1881, Giorgio and Sun. The latter, which is the subject here has the potential for a life partnership. There's really only two camps here, too. You either hate him or you can never get away from him. For me, I'm not just in love anymore... ...it's become something permanent. I can't count how many bottles I've used up already.
Actually, it's pretty easy to tell with me. From all heart fragrances I have the whole line, from Sun really every product.
To the perfume itself: with me comes directly after spraying on, as with most here, quite clearly the synthetics to the appearance. Fortunately, the does not last long and it is worth the wait. What makes Sun and what lasts with me quite the whole day is the delicious melange of orange blossom, amber, sandalwood and the small vanilla breath.
