The sheep in wolf fur
To this smell I came really rather "virgin" (thus in the figurative sense ^^).
I had already seen him a few times in the commercials... PINKER bottle or PINK COLOUR liquid. PINK. That and glitter let some synapses burn through with me already despite almost in the middle of 40. ;-)
With the name I have typical "Poison Girls" in front of my eyes, pierced, tattooed, the first thing I noticed about the name was such a little "rocker brat", black prickly hair, undercut, nose piercing (I don't have anything against tattoos and piercings, have some of my own), chewing gum, always on "anti", always on "wat willse?", always eye-catching.
But the beautiful bottle... or the beautiful liquid... ^^
We like to spend our winter holidays warm. There aren't as many targets left as there used to be. This winter it was again Gran Canaria, Meloneras.
At noon we made a trip to the shopping mall. Test the perfume. :-) It was hot, incredibly hot.
And actually it never occurred to me to spray anything from the Poison series onto my heated skin at these temperatures. But probably my brain was already overheated, too, it was pleasantly cool in the shop, and several scents landed on my skin (mostly never more than 4 at a time). Among others Poison Girl (hach, the pink...).
After a ... öhm rather unpleasant encounter with the Hypnotic Poison in the year 2000 (which ended with showers, nausea and Co., also very rarely with me and a perfume) was for me already quasi the confrontation therapy *g*.
Almost afraid, I sniffed at my wrist... Poison has always been negative for me ever since. But what do I smell in the burning Canary sun?! Sweet, gourmand berries, a bit like Campino, but creamy, never stinging, but dark. Almost like pink red fruit jelly, but without the annoying little pits, but creamy, delicious with a vanilla caramel note. Orange I smell now somehow zero, but as said, fragrance pyramids are really absolutely not mine or my nose is broken. :-)
This fragrance made it into my little suitcase with 50ml and made it that I used up the bottle in no time and ordered another 50ml bottle afterwards. That's really rare with me. The last one is now empty and I don't need it again.
But he will be remembered for later perhaps.
Poison isn't just Poison. That's what I learned. Maybe I am a little bit more Girlie than Lady, but only at Poison. :-) (I believe!)
It always fits me when I feel like it. For me, it is not a "situation" scent, i.e. only an office or only in the evening, but a typical "whims" scent, but rather for cooler days.
Funnily enough, I also "smelled" a lot of young girls wearing it, and they were actually "Poison Girls" as I described them above. :-)

Oh, my darling, my heart!
A very big, very old love connects me and Woman No. 1.
By a completely stupid coincidence I came across this fragrance in my early 20s. I wished my former colleague (much older than me) the soap for her birthday. I didn't know that and bought the fragrance until she told me (BEFORE giving it away) that she wouldn't like the fragrance, at least as perfume, but just the soap from it.
Instead of exchanging him at the big turquoise, I ripped open the package (he didn't cost a fortune back then), I lay in bed watching TV, still at home in my parents' house. And sprayed. And there he was! My scent! I could barely smell my fill, hung on my wrist all evening.
Unfortunately I can't describe it anymore, but I find it here in the descriptions and your comments and I'd bet 1000 €, I'd recognize it if I smelled it again.
It was my first and only signature scent. The one you always wear. Always carries, always carries, always carries. :-) That was never missing.
The production breaks at Bogner in the meantime were almost apocalypse-like for me, as if the earth were opening up. I often wrote to Bogner, twice I got several samples (6 at a time!) from Woman No. 1, which unfortunately only catapulted me back into paradise for a short time.
The last time (I can't remember the year) after the production break, you had slightly changed the scent, it wasn't "my" Bogner anymore, something was different, more pungent. He didn't smell (at least on me) like before, some other lovers had noticed that too. I had some test purchases, online as well as directly in the Satdt, but never again the smell came to the alleged original and so I had to grit my teeth and separate from all the started flacons.
Since then I have never sniffed a fragrance that has even begun to smell like this.
And I've never had a signature scent since, so for me it's like a scent that always accompanies me, that always has a place on my shelf, no matter how many other scents there are, that's always used to feel good, that makes you feel well dressed, and always do. Who fitted so well to me that I got so many compliments, but who smelled terribly at many others e.g. at my mother.

I came to the sample as so often with an order. "Jil Sander," I thought, "aha."
Don't misunderstand, I like Jil Sander fragrances! They are very different and diverse. I think everyone will find some more or less suitable fragrance.
On purpose, he surprised me. I was thinking of... my office job. To me in a pantsuit and a white, fortified blouse and Fräulein-Rottenmeier-Dutt with glasses. Sovereign, nothing on your mind but work. Business lady. And me in my bathrobe, cuddled up, freshly showered.
Interestingly, I think it fits both situations.
I personally find the fragrance very, very pleasant, reminds me a little of my favourite "Strenesse" by Gabriele Strehle (but I haven't yet compared the fragrance pyramid). However, the "freshly showered" feeling is not long to notice, the shelf life is underground, at least with me.
I usually can't start with fragrance pyramids, unless they are as clear as Sorbetto Rosso by Escada. The component has to hit me with half the garden fence before I can smell it out. ;-)
Creamy, powdery, fine, delicate, discreet, slightly sweet, that's how I would describe it.
But my 60ml bottle is already 1/3 empty, for one day I need more than 10 sprays. Even my husband hardly smells a thing of it, even after the fresh application. Too bad, actually, because I find the scent very pleasant. And diverse. A beautiful, discreet everyday scent, which I would leave in the cupboard in the evening, unless it goes to wellness. ;-)
