Angel dust
No, don't panic, the scent doesn't smell like in a drug lab. ;-)

This fine specimen found thanks to a very dear to me perfume *wink* the way from my watch list to my mailbox

While spraying, I find myself back on the beautiful lush green island of Martinique, where we made one of the most beautiful excursions. I am standing in the middle of the "Habitation Clément", one of the most beautiful rum distilleries, which also has a mega beautiful park.
I, on the other hand, am IN THE MIDDLE of the rum distillery, standing exactly where the rum barrels are stored in large halls, piled up in layers, so that the liquid gold can mature. I can't get enough of smelling myself there, it smells of sweetish vanilla, wood and rum (except vanilla there is NOT one of them in this smell, but I really smell it!) Our guide explains that the workers there call this scent "Angel Dust", which wafts so intensely out of the halls when the rum combines and unfolds with the aromas and the wooden barrel.
I think, here in the comments you can't upload pictures, I have another one from the hall.
I was already fascinated by this smell and the really impressive sight of the barrels piled up to the ceiling.

A little later, I'll go back to our apartment, smell again. Eh? This suddenly smells like Le Bain? Because I sprayed the "What we do in Paris is secret" as Le Bain-Dupe right there last night, I thought for a short time that the Tangier vanilla had "reawakened" the Lab on Fire and sprayed it again on my arm, far away from the first test area
But: the same again: DryDown really like "Le Bain (Eau de Parfum)"! Funny. :-)

I am almost inclined to test this fragrance a little more extensively, in the winter of this year. Let's see. :-)
Really a great, but very special scent, to which one must surely be in a carrying mood. For me not an Everyday candidate.

PS: At Douglas it says: "AERIN Tangier Vanilla starts with the freshness of Italian bergamot and the purity of Bulgarian rose. At the heart of the fragrance, precious vanilla from Madagascar plays the leading role - tonka bean and sweet benzoin from the tropical styrax tree frame it. The composition is rounded off by sandalwood and the seductive warmth of musk." I'd say benzoe, which makes me smell rum... But I've always said that I think my nose is broken. ^^

D&G Light Blue Flanker
Wow... A nice scent should at least be commented on.
I came to this fragrance again thanks to Mrs Eyris' tip. :-)

So this fragrance starts off with a very reserved, soft lemon, lightly flanked by flowers. Later on, a little vanilla is added; unfortunately (as is often the case with vanilla and lemon scents), durability and sillage are not soooo opulent.

At first I was very enthusiastic, sprayed happily with my 10ml AF on me around
But every time after some time there was a nerve note and I have no idea what it is. It reminds me of Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue, which I had 50ml long, and which was already annoying me very quickly because of exactly this note at that time. The two fragrances are similar, with Magnolia being much softer and shallower, while the Light Blue has a more sparkling lemon. The notes are similar.

If you like the Light Blue, maybe Magnolia is for you too. A beautiful summer scent that you can never overdose.

The Cassiopea antithesis
Yin and Yang, black and white.
While the Cassiopea is really radiant, fruity, velvety, simply soft, this one is different.

It starts with an incredibly great, deep fruit note, all fruits freshly pressed to a heavenly smoothie. The fruity note is really fresh and fruity, and absolutely zero artificial. At first I thought, oh, but that's the more beautiful scent of the two.

Later on, however, a smoky, tart note (patch?! Sandalwood?!) comes through quite well and takes the stage away from the fruits absolutely. This note is so pervasive that yesterday I had a test spray on my arm, put on a fleece jacket and this morning, completely fragrance-free, put the jacket on again, took it off for a shower and this note stuck to my arm (only from the jacket!) so much that it was still there even after showering and putting on the cream!
That's what I call durability! :-)
(But the jacket is now in the laundry. ^^)

But neither of them are mine, neither of them convinced me enough to add them to my collection. Nevertheless, both are beautiful fragrances.

Special sweet celery?!
This fragrance test reached me without me having even the slightest knowledge of the brand or even a scent of it.

Sprayed.
Oohhhh, it's beautiful!!!??? What am I smelling exactly? I can't really believe it, at first a strong alcoholic note, but it disappears within seconds, but even then I can already guess the potential of this fragrance. I'm with rose and plum, really nice and sweet, both hand in hand as one, but a nice, deep sweetness, not a squeaky one. And certainly not an easy one, as for example with my Escadas (Limited Editions). In the course of time the sweetness gets spicier, but remains really sweet. But not as fresh and spicy as with ginger, more like this ... yes, a bit woody and spicy. But really only subliminal. It stays that way, it just gets quieter, so it doesn't go through any major development on my skin.

In the aftermath, I read here that many people notice celery?? So no, tested again yesterday with the celery knowledge - no, really not. Maybe with the seasoning, but celery (which I really like to eat, by the way) would spread something like vegetable soup, so I don't smell any of that. The seasoning I smell can also come from cedar, or rosewood. It is a powdery spice, but Iris is not listed

I find this fragrance really super beautiful and fascinating, but it's so special in this constellation that I would actually have little or no opportunities to wear it (and that's something I've only had since Parfumo). And I do not even know why.
Before Parfumo I bought fragrances and simply wore them.
Now I look at which ones I like, how I'm doing and what I'm up to.

Tardes is for me absolutely no everyday smell, he is not pleasing like e.g. Fever by Jimmy Choo, he always goes.

But I will use up my little speck, spray it every now and then and then and then look. :-)

Sillage is moderate, as is the shelf life of 4 - 5 hours, depending on spray strength.

8.One rating point?!
Seriously?!
I really give up here
It's not gonna work out with me and these exclusives.

I constantly rely on ratings, thinking that the masses (or those who rate) cannot be wrong.

And they are wrong!!! They're so wrong!!!

So I made a huge sample order, here as well as in the well-known perfumeries. And there were a few disgusting moments, some of them, but I'll certainly get to them later on.

Resignedly, I sniffed at this sample.
Oh! What perfume! Fruity sweet with a restrained freshness! Aw man, could this be a hit????
Sprayed on.
I smell alcohol. But not a drugstore scent, some kind of fruit liqueur. And it's gonna stay that way. It changes to fermented fruit juice with incense (which is not listed at all, but I smell something smoky) and then it stays the same until the end. I beg you, who is smelling my beloved Nuit et Confidence??? No, absolutely no scent twin, despite the smoke note.

When I used to walk my dog in the forest in summer, there were some trees along the way, but I can't remember which ones lost their small orange fruits (I'm guessing sloes) in summer and which were crushed and ferment in the sun.
That's kind of what Dama Bianca smells like. I can smell almost nothing else, I'm guessing kumquat, but where the hell's the smoke coming from??

It's not unpleasant, but it's definitely not something I want. :-)

After this specimen determination, two things became clear to me:
1. I can't go by the ratings here.
and 2. here please really EVERYONE must rate EVERYONE! For a while I handled it in such a way that I did not want to do the perfumer wrong and wanted to hold back with my harsh judgement.
But we are all different, and one likes the scent, the other does not. That's what makes perfume. And even those who don't like it have a voice! :-)
And there are so many opinions...

With this I finally release the inclined readers into the fragrant weekend!
See ya! :-D
