Pleasant but boring
Very pleasant fougère! The usual lavender has been replaced here by mint.
I like the "Opening" much better than the rest of the fragrance. The beautiful initial mint disappears relatively quickly and the rest of the time it smells like a well-groomed man fresh out of the shower who is not willing to be too out of place.
In any case, the scent is well done and you don't rub off. But for this price segment the fragrance is too "Otto-Normal-Verbaucher-mäßig".
In any case a recommendation for niche newcomers who do not want to take any risk and for whom money is not an issue!

The slightly different summer scent
I have heard so much good about this fragrance over the years and yet I have waited too long to test it and buy it.
I am more a fan of very warm scents which is rather difficult in summer. Often I simply did not wear anything at all during the day when the temperatures were warm.
"Diptyque Philosykos" is in my opinion an exception. The fragrance is very pleasant and summery, yet it doesn't seem too heavy. When spraying it on, a green leafy dream is fogging me, which refreshes me (normally I hate green scents, but here I am thrilled). The scent of green leaves disappears quite quickly and is complemented by a pleasant fig scent. Not the sweet smell of fig jam but the smell of a fresh fig that you sniff before it is cut. For many people this might seem too strange and many don't want to smell like that but shortly after a pleasant milky note is added. The coconut note, which in my opinion cannot be identified as coconut, rounds off the green and vegetable very nicely and makes the whole composition a round and pleasant experience with the help of wooden notes. The further fragrance on my skin is this pleasant and fragrant overall composition.
The perfume is wonderfully natural and simply smells very authentic. If you want to smell like that you have to decide yourself. In any case it is a nice alternative to the typical fresh or citric summer scents. Unfortunately the shelf life and sillage are not so good and I have to spray the fragrance every now and then

Yin and yang
I am very excited about this scent.
Although I am not a great friend of rose scents, I love this perfume more than anything else.
When I spray it on, I immediately think of the past, but at the same time not of something old-fashioned. The fragrance definitely has a gourmand touch, but is by no means too sweet or swollen like many other rose scents. PHI seems very unisex in my opinion.
So the fragrance is an interplay of many contrasts and that is what makes it so special to me

Aniseed Almond Dream
I really like the smell. The bottle, with its blue color, seems rather fresh and cool. But this "cool" expectation is not confirmed.
When sprayed on, the star anise note is very well perceptible. In the beginning I was a little worried about the anise because I didn't want to have a liquorice-ouzo perfume. But the anise is very pleasant and takes away the marzipan association from the sweet almond.
During the day there is a pleasant scent on my skin. The components merge into a beautiful overall impression in which no fragrance ingredient is too dominant.
With all its sweetness, the fragrance is not too heavy and could be worn all year round despite its gourmand notes.
For me a feel-good fragrance that does not challenge me too much and that I like to wear simply for myself when I don't want anything too demanding
