An interesting exploration of the fruity aspect of labdanum for a light amber accord. As a whole it feels rather (on purpose?) irresolute.

Reference vetiver. Dry, tarry roots and bark with oily undertones and an aldehydic twist in Chanel fashion, to make it more elegant.

A mature gourmand with candied orange and boozy facets, creating the impression of a fancy dessert. The vanilla isn’t too overpowering.

Aromatics Elixir reimagined for the 21st century, less chaotic, but still unusually bold and luxurious for Le Labo.

Crude and muddled in typical Profumum style, this still manages to be one of my favorite patchoulis. Feels like an oil worn by a 70s rocker.
