Powerhouse masculine chypre

Etruscan Water is an awesome masculine chypre fragrance. It briefly brought Antaeus to mind, but it's a bit rougher around the edges, strong and more animalic. It opens with a biting citrus that doesn't last very long. The animalic component is there almost from the start but the dry down reveals the beautiful oak moss note, recalling the masculine powerhouse fragrances from 30 year ago and more. Other notes contribute in their own way to the overall superb scent. Performance is very good, with longevity going very strong for over 12 hours. The next morning, it was still detectable as a skin scent. Projection was also very good for at least 2 hours with a closer but still strong scent bubble after that. Strikes me as a bit more formal and very masculine - not one for the bubblegum boys. Etruscan Water was quickly added to my shopping list.

Monster of a chypre

Etruscan Water is a slightly sweet resinous animalic monster of a chypre. Opening with green citruses and spices, most notably cumin, the florals immortelle and jasmine smooth the sharp top notes out in preparation for the ambery mossy musky base. The Bianchi signature comes through in the form of an animalic leathery component throughout. Complex, powerful, and even unique for a chypre due to the aforementioned signature, it’s one of if not the best in the Francesca Bianchi lineup

return to the past with quality

I love u Bianchi. here she has reached perfection. the price is sensationally good for all of this. elegant, for man, for woman, for every day! a blast from the past, but wonderfully current. very artistic but also very classic. if you love chypre, you can't miss this one. it is important not to overdo it in my opinion. also has some animal touches so elegant and so classy!

Wow...vintage vibes

Although the usual Bianchi olfactory stamp is felt with the use of powdery iris butter and ambergris, this Chypre, which can recall the more famous Bort's "Chypre du Nord" is still a gem in the Bianchi collection. It has this citrusy, balsamic, camphorated opening that's very reminiscent of vintage chypres but with its own stamp. Absurd quality price as well as performance in duration and sillaggio.

A modern classic

Etruscan water is for me the paradigm of duality, it is classic but modern, it shines and has a dark and mysterious part, it is clean and it has a sexy and dirty part and that makes it a super attractive fragrance.

This creation by Francesca Bianchi reminds me of those old Italian fragrances, with bergamot, orange, petit grain and vetiver and turns together with spices, a spectacular moss and the creaminess of orris into an irresistible fragrance.

Surely the easiest of its collection, quite versatile and with an impressive duration and trail.
