Great Summer Scent
I don't know why, but citrusy fresh scents seem to last very well on my skin, just like this one. This is a fragrance that needs to unfold at first. I had tested it in the store several times and thought, "nope, that's too much lemon for me, where's the coconut?". Still, I ordered it because it wouldn't leave me alone for months. And lo and behold. In a normal environment, with enough time, the initially intense lemon dries down to a lovely fresh scent that brings a noticeable coconut with it. That's really great. There's also a hint of melon. I'm already looking forward to when the snow stops and I can wear it more often. Although I also find it nice for sports.

Whoever is looking for cherry here...
... Will find it briefly and lose it again in the drydown. Nevertheless, this is a successful fragrance that strongly reminds of the Black Opium DNA, but in the drydown, it leans more towards the classic direction rather than the Over Red. Therefore, I find the name and the design somewhat misleading. I really like this DNA; it is not too sweet, and the fine coffee note is well noticeable, along with the gourmand notes. Fortunately, the licorice is not present at all. The cherry, as mentioned, is very fleeting, but when you do catch it, it's a good one. Not the typical TF cherry that we all have. That's why I'm not unhappy with the DNA of Cherry Gossip; on the contrary. Paris Corner has managed this more coherently than, for example, Maison Alhambra, where the notes did not want to work on my skin. Although the cherry note was more pronounced in the Maison Alhambra variant. All in all, you can't go wrong with this fragrance, but it could use a bit more longevity and sillage. I'll let it sit for now and will update.

Favorite Fragrance
I was lucky enough to test Planifolia and I have to say that in comparison they are similar, but then go in different directions. I actually prefer Vanilla Aura now because I find it more pleasing and the vanilla simply has a refined spiciness. Somehow, the scent also reminds me of a smell from my youth that gives me a sense of security and makes me happy. That's probably why I like it so much, as it triggers memories. Unfortunately, I don't know exactly what they are. It's totally crazy because at first, I didn't like Vanilla Aura. When I sprayed it for the first time, I found it quite weakly perceivable and more than the vanilla, I noticed a chlorine scent. I was initially disappointed. But especially vanilla scents from Dubai often need some time to mature, so I waited. After a good month, it became this great love that I described above. This wonderful vanilla, really this pod, which is so aromatic-softly spicy. A bit of sweetness, cozy, tonka bean. I take a deep breath and the day is saved when I wear the scent. I love it so much now. I can actually imagine wearing it all year round (not necessarily at 30 degrees) but it’s not too heavy, as the citrus notes make it a bit lighter. A totally versatile daily scent for me that I can always smell. At first, I thought it was weak and didn’t last. Today I am totally happy with the longevity and sillage. The sillage is not too much for those around me, but I can always catch a whiff of it when I move. Dream scent.

The nose needs to get used to it
Tested twice and left it in the store twice. Honey scents are not my thing, and I thought this one would be no exception. But it went boom when I went to work the next day. Sounds silly, but I was sitting in the office thinking, "What the hell... smells so extraordinary here?" Until I realized that my hair tie and my jacket sleeve must have picked up some of the scent in the store when I sprayed it on my wrist and dismissed it as not good twice. Throughout the week, the scent kept coming back to me, and with each day, I looked forward more and more to wearing my jacket and my hair tie to finally smell it again. It is distinct but not too intrusive, as honey scents often tend to be. The opening is not love at first sight, these unusual honey notes, the citrus notes, the flowers. But once it has "settled," it becomes an almost clean and fresh blend of floral undertones with fresh bergamot citrus. The honey, as the name suggests, is more of a light nectar that stays in the background but is present. Not Winnie Pooh's honey pot. It's something I've never smelled before, and despite all my doubts, it almost makes me addicted to sniffing it on myself. I recommend everyone to give it some time and, above all, to test it on the skin. It simply smells different there than on paper. And it definitely needs about half an hour to unfold its beauty.

An Old Acquaintance
First of all: The listed notes seem to have been taken directly from Lattafa and are even inconsistent on the manufacturer's website. They appear to be exactly the notes from Al Nashama, the fruitier Vintage Radio. Nasmaat definitely does not correspond to that!
But I immediately recognized the scent nonetheless; unfortunately, it is nothing new. It resembles the Badee Al Oud Sublime (red bottle) immensely, which is said to resemble Eden Juicy Apple. The only difference: Nasmaat is less woody and less mossy. With the Sublime, I had some issues with that note in the undertone. One could say that Nasmaat is the slightly more pleasing Sublime. The apple is fruity, oriental. It’s a nice scent, but if you have Sublime, you don't need this one. However, the bottle is really pretty with the black and gold.
