Perfume is NOT eau de parfum
First of all: a lot has already been written about the fragrance, so I will only write a few lines about it: It is a fragrance of the century, just like the eau de toilette, which is three years younger. it would probably have been called "No 5 - A Song of Ice and Fire" if G. R. R. Martin had been born back then and was responsible for marketing at Chanel. Cool and sparkling like snowflakes at the start, it slowly floats to earth, becoming warmer and warmer and culminating in an unsurpassed olfactory sensuality whose glow is known to have warmed Marylin Monroe at night (whether from the perfume, EdT or EdC is not entirely clear, possibly alternating between all concentrations). Only one thing is certain: It was certainly not "N°5 (Eau de Parfum) | Chanel", which was not created until the 80s; it was only created a good 30 years after her death for the prevailing taste and shoulder-padded zeitgeist of the time.
Incidentally, the photo on Parfumo is misleading: at first glance, the current bottle of "N°5 (Eau de Parfum) | Chanel" looks exactly like "N°5 (Parfum) | Chanel", differing only by the two words "Eau de" and the available sizes 35, 50 and 100ml. Once opened, a sprayer is also revealed, whereas the perfume is usually a tiny pouring bottle for dabbing in the sizes 1.5 - 7.5 - 15 and 30ml. Unlike the extremely expensive perfume, the eau de parfum can be tested in any perfumery. The perfume, on the other hand, is only dabbed on sparingly and only (!) on request for testing and only if, in the opinion of the sales staff, you have the necessary small change, the golden credit card, the generous oligarch uncle (...) with you.
So the visual differences are small, but the fragrance is all the greater. While the eau de toilette, which is also 100 years old, has the same shimmering, transparent "vibe" as the perfume, the eau de parfum is a real tramp. While the older sisters in the sophisticated little black dress giggle and whisper to each other, the eau de parfum gains access to the exclusive party by kicking the door down with a roar. Instead of timeless elegance, I perceive endless penetrance in the eau de parfum. And yes, I hardly dare say it, in combination with my skin it also reminds me of certain human vapors and excretions, which is why I can hardly stand it on me.
Long story short: before you write a review or a statement about the perfume, please make sure you are in the right place. If not: click on "N°5 (Eau de Parfum) | Chanel" and your review will end up where it belongs.

Thalasso Therapy vs. Fiore dell'onda vs. REM
Thalasso Therapy is clearly inspired by a tercet of other maritime fragrances: REM, Aqua di Sale and Fiore dell'onda. But since I only have the latter there, I made a direct comparison with it.
Fiore dell'onda catapults one directly to the seashore, one smells sea spray, salt and sand.
Thalasso Therapy starts a little more lovely, less salty and with a slightly medicinal water mint note. This note weakens over time and he becomes more similar to Fiore dell'onda.
Fiore dell'onda becomes warmer with time, evoking associations of sand in the sun and seawater drying on the skin, I think it's amber, which is becoming increasingly prevalent.
This development is only recognizable in Thalasso Therapy in the beginning, because he already begins to disappear at the time Fiore dell'onda is in the middle of the heart note.
Overall, the fragrance is clearly more synthetic, but also costs only a tenth (here in Italy I paid a ridiculous 3.39€ for 100ml, Fiore dell'onda by L'Erbolario costs 32.90€/100ml). For thrifty people quite an alternative.

PS: Meanwhile, I also have REM there. Of the three the weakest in my opinion. Less "sofisticated" than Fiore dell'onda, less fresh than Thalasso Therapy, but with quite an intense cumin note, which bothers me personally here.

Tea with a difference
I've been living in Italy for a few years now, but I first became aware of the L'Erbolario brand through the first Lockdown, because one of the few stores that was allowed to stay open in our neighborhood also carried L'Erbolario. Since I first walked into this little shop, the number of bottles and jars in our bathroom has exploded. The scents and cosmetics are a revelation in terms of quality. Aromatherapy for the corona blues.

But now to the fragrance:
Foglie di Tè starts quite fresh with verbena, lemon and bergamot underlaid with black tea. In addition, I smell soap (with lavender), but not unpleasant. Overall clean, but not overly clean. Unisex.
Then it gets warmer and creamier, citrus notes and the lavender soap fade into the background, now the tea plays the main role. I also smell honey and maybe a little bit of honeysuckle.
At the very end, a few violets join in discreetly, which makes the fragrance a little more feminine overall.

All in all, a really nice, interesting, unusual feel-good fragrance that does not have much in common with the usual interpretations of (mostly green) tea. Far from the current mainstream, but still a fragrance that probably most people should find pleasant, regardless of age and gender.

Bravo, L'Erbolario!
