Maybe not a Paradox, but still worth the hype
I know it's a popular scent but I can be a bit meh on white florals so I was surprised by how much I actually liked this one. The orange blossom comes through the strongest for me but then neroli.
It lasts very well with a little spray and is quite linear, which can both be nice and get a bit cloying. I wouldn't wear this if I were going to be indoors in an enclosed space.
It's not the most unique, you won't be the only one around wearing this, I personally finds that the linear scent is a bit too much after a few hours if you're stuck inside, but it makes me happy to smell it on someone else. It's a beautiful scent that is just as good at first spray as it is 24hours later.

If only those first notes stayed!!
At first it's heavenly, a bit of a nutty chocolate marshmallow with just the perfect amount of citrus to add a bit of twang. However after an hour or so it is the exact same whipped cream and white musk as every other young modern celebrity perfume, nothing that sets it apart. Disappointing! Especially considering it is at the higher price range when it comes to celeb perfumes.
However it does live up to its name - it's very sweet, you just want to eat it. The bottle design doesn't help, lol.

This makes me happy!
A little bit artificial watermelon that makes you think of summertime and watermelon sorbet none the less. I doubt anyone could take offense to such an airy, sweet smell, be it school or work or something else. Absolutely delicious but, as with all Escada perfumes, the time it stays on your skin is basically nonexistent.
This is what gourmand means to me
Initial smell was much stronger than I expected - it burned in my nose and I started sneezing! (I probably sprayed too close, as I wasn't expecting it). Once that sting calmed down though after a minute it left a very warm, sweet caramel-vanilla. I can imagine this perfectly on a cozy autumn night in front of a fire.
The longer I wear this, the more I actually love it! It lasts very well, like almost scarily, and though it's simple it's a nice scent. The only downside is that starter note that's just way too strong , and how expensive it is for its simplicity. Also fair warning: the perfume is yellow and will leave a stain on fabrics and, as I came to find out, white dogs. Be careful to let it dry before hugging your pets lol

Not a lot of lychee
This is a simple go-to scent for me. I don't get a lot of lychee, so that was a disappointment, somewhat more violets. It's a bit liquorice-like almost, but without the sharpness.
Generally very inoffensive and good to wear both inside and outside. The fairly unchanging scent also makes it a layering-candidate.
