Not my cup of tea at all

Unfortunately, I had different expectations of the perfume than I got in the end.

For the first hour, Eden Sparkling Lychee smells extremely like an inexpensive children's perfume from the drugstore. I then mainly smell an extremely artificial lychee and rose.

Over time, the perfume develops a little better, but the scent itself is still far too childish and artificial for me. Personally, I can't see this perfume on any woman over 16 and would be surprised if an adult woman in life would wear this fragrance on herself

Unfortunately, Eden Sparkling Lychee is not my cup of tea at all and I don't need more than my small sample of the perfume

Sparkling sugared fruity florals

Yeah, I'm one of those people who follow Kayali and can't wait to try her fragrances as soon as they come out. I have absolutely no shame in admitting that. I skipped out over the Oudgasm collection because oud is not one of my favorite raw ingredient (although I might circle back to it later), so I was quite excited when I learned that this one was going to be their next release. I love Eden Juicy Apple | 01 with all of my heart, so I was expecting to love this one too.

The top notes are the most beautiful thing EVER. Delicious and playful, they're a delight for fruity sweet perfume lovers. Blackcurrant is tart, italian lemon is tangy, lychee is a delight and red apple is sweet. I wish they had stayed longer. During the middle notes, there's powder, sugar and flowers that comes from the trio of raw ingredients. Candied violet give off a crystalized sugary note, damask rose has a fruity facet while jasmine sambac gives off a powdery accord. It clearly leans feminine to me with its overall sugary sweet florals. When the drydown happens, it becomes a soft, sweet and creamy skin-scent. Amber and musk give it a rounded warmth, cedarwood and sandalwood gives it a creamy, comfortable vibe, and the vanilla is Kayali's signature vanilla: pleasant, sweet, a bit dark. A beautiful conclusion to the story of a girl's night out.

It smells playful, like sipping a light mocktail. It's a beautiful delight for the senses and not a strong or heavy perfume. It's almost giving clean girl vibe. I did appreciate the fact that there seems to be a story that's debuting with the Eden collection: playful fruity sweetness. If you love Eden Juicy Apple| 01, I'm certain you'll love this one. I have the impression the perfume will also evolve as the vanilin darkens with time so I'm quite excited to try it out later. People might complain it reminds them of a BBW body mist and I do get where they come from. This is in part why I've been hesitating towards adding a full bottle to my collection. I've had the time to try it again and the floral notes have become stronger than the fruity notes which is why it might not make it in my collection afterall. Still a great scent from Kayali!

Hello, could you please do without half of the ingredients here? It could have been nice

Candied violet smells really delicious, but to my nose the lychee here is overripe and preserved in sticky sugar syrup. Yes, the fragrance also has an acidity to it, which should probably slow down the sweetness somewhat.

A pass for me. Too sweet, too deliberate, too intrusive, too squeaky girly. Well, this lady's taste may still grow.

But the candied violet, yes, that was nice!

New Year's Eve party

The beginning:
When I sprayed the perfume on for the first time, I liked it at first. New Year's Eve and the sparkling wine had just been freshly poured. A slightly sweet rose sparkling wine. For me, the fragrance smells directly of fun and a good evening.

After 30 minutes:
Now the fragrance had more of a "youth fragrance" note for me. There was also a hint of chewing gum. I knew I would definitely have bought a fragrance like this when I was 14. Sweet and fruity.

After a few hours:
I could still detect the scent subtly. The scent has just changed a lot. It is more reminiscent of Maoam. So more like sweets.

Conclusion:
A very fun fragrance in itself. I like smelling it but I wouldn't wear it.

Eden Sparkling Lychee

The lychee in this gives off kids cough syrup. It's strong and has that sticky alcoholic cherry scent to it that resembles cough syrup. That's what this smells like to me. If you like lychee I'd recommend Passionate AF Passionate AF doesn't have that cough syrup vibe and it's lychee is done smoothly.
