First of all, I was really almost overwhelmed by the fragrance. At first, the scent is really tart and spicy, but then it also becomes sweet. Why the name of this fragrance is reminiscent of Psycho becomes very clear to me during the transformation. It's actually the harsh, evil axe murderer who suddenly turns bittersweet and flatters you, only to chop your head off at the end.

Cardamom and juniper are particularly evident here. These notes are accompanied by fresh hay, leather, wood and a slightly smoky note. I imagine a lumberjack in his forest cabin - a cabin in the woods, so to speak - who has just made himself a coffee and is calmly going over his murder plan before setting off in search of his victim. This scent really tells me a story. The murderer presents himself as a well-groomed man, with a full beard, a warm manner and looks extremely masculine, muscular, but also loving; until he goes crazy...

It's very exciting what fragrances can trigger and no, not every fragrance stimulates my imagination to such an extent. I think the name is really super apt. It's probably also the combination of name and scent that stimulates my brain so much, because at first you just think: What is that? Who is that? And then it starts. A really great experience.

About the fragrance itself: Any man who would like this fragrance would probably be able to turn my head immediately. Because this composition is really extremely attractive. As a woman, I wouldn't wear it again. Although it develops a very sweet touch, it also remains tart. Really superbly done.

For me, Nomenclature Para_Iso really offers an association with paradise... When I spray it on, it transports my thoughts to an island with palm trees and a beautiful white sandy beach, framed by turquoise blue sea. I'm lying in a hammock between two palm trees and enjoying a cocktail. Someone is playing hula music in the background (I hope you know what I mean).

And no, we don't have a summery suntan lotion scent here, no coconut notes or vanilla explosion. It really smells rather fresh, greenish with a woody undertone and a fruity note. Yes, it's a synthetic scent, but one of the good ones in my opinion. It also smells clean, round and intense to me. The sillage is really impressive and the longevity is also very good. The fragrance stays with me for a long time. Over time, it becomes a little more earthy and then perhaps even reminds me a little of rainy weather. However, I still associate it with the tropics and that totally relaxes me. A real therapeutic fragrance for me...

This fragrance is definitely a real highlight for me. It's definitely worth spraying on and sniffing at least once. But be careful, once it's on your skin, it stays there.

Yesterday I was in the drugstore and wanted to get me new deodorant. After I have only recently become aware of the Narciso (Eau de Parfum Ambrée), I actually wanted to test this fragrance once. But so far he has not yet met me. Now I had but also already of this Spirit of Black Magnolia mitbekommen that it should be a dupe to it and because I basically everything with Ambrée or similar references only once, I thought to myself that I could but times a test dare...

Snatched a test strip from the container, sprayed the tester on it and there it was, a WOW effect. A floral-fresh fragrance, although it is not quite clear to me why it is called Black Mangolia. Frangipani, ylang-ylang and a floral aftertaste come rushing just initially immediately. The whole thing is then accompanied by musk and woody notes that make the scent seem soft. And then it just fills everything around me. It's very present, very intense. I like intense fragrances, so he was allowed to come along.

Back in the office, of course, I did not miss the opportunity to apply it directly. And already after a few minutes I regretted it. On the way he smelled better than now here in the small room. After 10 min. already it becomes a horror. I smell only floral sweetness. It is just everywhere. It has caught me. And I try desperately to gasp for air, but I suffocate in a sea of flowers. What have I done? Well, let's just wait a little longer. Doesn't cost anything, won't last that long and maybe it will be more pleasant again... Fiddlesticks. I can't get the scent out of my nose. And in fact it reminds me of other fragrances by Narciso Rodriguez. Not of the scent, but of its essence. No, no more perfume with floral top notes for me. I just can't stand it.

The fragrance itself is really very present with me for a long time - at least for myself. And he does not like me unfortunately at all. At the same time, I must say that he is not even badly made. He does not smell like a cheap drugstore water. He has it even really fist thick behind the ears and keeps very long. Who likes floral fragrances and looking for intense fragrances, which should hold here times his little nose.

Conclusion: nothing for me, but I actually know that floral fragrances and I are not friends. I just ignored it once again and it's my own fault that I'm now dissatisfied. Whether he is now comparable to the Narciso I still can not answer. But he is at least just such a fragrance bomb, as the fragrances I know from the series. Only that this one just comes along too floral.

These days I was looking for the miniset of Zarkoperfume for a friend. So I searched the internet to see if the set still existed and suddenly I saw: New fragrance, reduced... And I had already ordered again, although I have got along well with my self-imposed ban on buying for a long time now. First of all I wanted to reduce my stocks. Well...

Now my show has reached me and I grabbed the scent directly and confidently sprayed it on my wrist and bam!

It was like time travel. I lie in my bed, wrapped in my freshly covered pink unicorn bedding and enjoy the wonderful smell of detergent and fabric softener. I feel comfortable and secure and enjoy every minute I still perceive this scent, because already the next night it would leave me again until the next change. But now I am safe, at home, with mum, where nothing can harm me.

Yes, the first moment really brought me back to my childhood until I opened my eyes again. This scent reminds me of the cuddly soft that my mum used to pour in litres into our laundry, especially the bed linen. I also knew a boy who always smelled so fresh. I think that was the only reason why I liked him so much. :D

After a few minutes, the fragrance subsides somewhat. But it is still present. If I need a little time off, I can smell it right on my wrist. I feel relaxed and I just smell fresh and clean. And I like that.

The durability of the fragrance is really very good. I can smell it even after hours. And as soon as the first extreme cloud has disappeared after a few minutes, the intensity is also very pleasant. Others perceive the scent on me as well. This is particularly associated with the question whether I would have bathed in fabric softener. That makes me laugh then. It's very pleasant to smell clean, especially in these times.

Conclusion: I will buy the big bottle and I will certainly use it as office perfume. I think it's perfect for that. In my private environment - depending on the occasion - I will certainly spray it from time to time, but I prefer more exciting fragrances true to the motto: Here I am!

Now I am going to the rituals because I have received a voucher for a free product for my birthday and immediately think to myself: WHAT IS THIS? Where are my perfumes? Oh no, not another assortment change...
YES. And then there's this scent there... How magically attracted by the word ISO E Super I storm right at it and spray first of all. Now you're probably wondering... What's that? What's he like?

Yeah, what can I say? After I was captivated by Zarkoperfume's Molécule 234-38 and Juliette has a gun's Not a perfume, I ordered Ambroxan and several variants of ISO E Super (ISO E Super, Sylvamber & Timbersilk). That's why my nose is now very sensitive to these fragrances. The ritual L'Essence was unfortunately the worst variant ever chosen.

However, you should keep in mind that Rituals intends to market this fragrance as a layer fragrance so that you don't use it individually, but spray it over the other fragrances. That makes the perfume's more expensive, of course, without one actually noticing it... Suddenly you buy 2 fragrances... Smart concept...

Does it at least work? Yes! If you layer this perfume with a different fragrance, it will hardly change the fragrance of the perfume you are applying, but it will prolong its shelf life and also the sillage. This is due to the ISO E Super. And it's definitely great for that.

But is it worth it? No! Because on the one hand the scents already hold quite well and on the other hand it is simply ISO E Super, which you can also order elsewhere for 20% of the price of Rituals. The slightly diluted bottle has exactly the same effect and smells exactly the same. The only one where I'm not 100% sure whether it's ISO E Super, Sylvamber or Timbersilk. I'd have to sniff that out again at home.

In any case, however, it is exactly this fragrance variant that almost burns in the nose, it is so dry. Woody, dusty. You don't like to take deep breaths.

Solo, it's definitely not wearable. Besides, the scent disappears very quickly. He appears - as we know it - every now and then also again. But all in all, I wouldn't make a buy recommendation here. You are better off with the other more expensive fragrances, because the ISO E Supers they contain are simply the better ones, which appear smoother and gentler. UNd these you get on the market unfortunately not simply so to buy.
