Purple cadaver poison, or: how I found grandpa in the desert
Yesterday I ended up on the website of a crime scene cleaner, he described his work there, it was primarily about, watch out: quality - and apparently felt compelled (I assume for reasons of differentiation from the many bunglers who plow this market (he put it somewhat more diplomatically)) to impressively illustrate the quality of his services offered in order to underpin them (before - after). Now I have a new perfume... "№ 02 - L'Air du Désert Marocain (Eau de Toilette Intense) | Tauer Perfumes" - the name is sonorous, it is supposed to be reminiscent of Moroccan desert air. But. For quite a while at the beginning, I had vibes (probably due to cumin) of "moldy oppa" (and by that I mean exactly that: very old masculine person, not: female or trans, teenager, baby or child), or better: "dusty, moldy apartment of a single older gentleman", possibly. with slight hoarding tendencies that are still completely within limits (a long life can throw off a lot of stuff if you don't take countermeasures in time, the offspring will thank you - but there are none here now). Where were we? So: a morbid sweetness gradually, very slowly, creeps into this dry, dusty, moldy opa note, which becomes increasingly haunting... and here we are again at the aforementioned Tatort cleaner website with its quality-demonstrating illustrations. The whole thing probably sounds extremely off-putting and alienating, but: it's not. On the contrary. The elderly gentleman may have been lonely and incontinent, he may have enjoyed a good cigar from time to time and rarely ventilated, but - and this is the most important thing: he was content and at peace with himself and the world. And that's how he left it. It is - indeed - an incredibly cozy scent, a small greeting from the crypt, a friendly wave from the past of a person who has left us his farewell scent and fond memories of him.

No real grandpa has been harmed during this review. Mine actually smelled like that in his house, and I loved it ;-)
