Compliments as far as the eye can see
OStK is a very soft and pleasant perfume that is masculine and unique at the same time. I personally don't notice the eponymous oud that much. It is rather the harmony between the woody notes and the vanilla, in combination with a hint of leather, that makes this fragrance so cuddly. But it is the Earl Grey tea and the bergamot note that make this perfume so unique and multidimensional. They lend the fragrance a certain lightness and freshness that makes it wearable even on a warm summer evening. OStK is therefore perfect for a chic dinner or an afternoon visit to your favorite café.

The performance is absolutely solid and definitely ensures that you are noticed olfactorily by those around you. In the vast majority of cases, positively ;)

All in all, you can't complain about the price of the perfume, as it is really relatively inexpensive for a niche fragrance. A clear buy recommendation!

Royal fragrance at a bourgeois price
When I first came across "Oriental Essence - Roi d'Orient | Rituals", I was taken aback. So Rituals also makes perfumes? "Well, it's worth a try" I thought to myself about two and a half years ago and ordered the 15 ml bottle for a fair 15 euros. I didn't really know what to expect, except that it would be oriental.

That's how it turned out. During my first test, the fragrance was somehow too pungently sweet, but that changed over time and the scent became more and more powdery and creamy. The great spiciness caused by the white pepper also became more and more apparent. The musk then finally provides a tart masculinity that makes the fragrance irresistible.

In contrast to many other oriental fragrances, "Oriental Essence - Roi d'Orient | Rituals" is less intrusive and is therefore also suitable for everyday use. By avoiding fragrances such as saffron or oud, which are almost used in an inflationary manner, the fragrance retains its pleasant lightness.

Even though I find the scent of "Oriental Essence - Roi d'Orient | Rituals" great and unique, I unfortunately have to make deductions in terms of performance. Unfortunately, the fragrance doesn't last a whole working day on me and the sillage also leaves a lot to be desired.

As for the bottle, I really have paid a lot more money for much worse bottles. I like the way the golden accents have been played with. In addition, the wooden cap feels really high-quality and the spray head is at an absolute niche level.

Teenagers forever like Pharrell
Sometimes it can be so simple, perhaps a little synthetic, but simple. "Versace pour Homme Dylan Blue (Eau de Toilette) | Versace" is the perfect introduction for any young man or teenager to the wonderful world of perfume. It is available at an affordable price and is really not difficult to handle. It can be worn in summer, spring and fall for any occasion and is a shower gel fragrance that appeals to both men and women
The fragrance is fresh and citrusy and has light yet present spicy notes that create a mass-market hit. The omnipresent ambrox note unfortunately doesn't suit my taste at all, but doesn't spoil the fragrance for me either.
The performance is very solid for a freshie and the flacon is perhaps a little pretentious but of high quality
flashy but high quality.
For the price, "Versace pour Homme
Dylan Blue (Eau de Toilette) | Versace" is a great entry-level fragrance for young people and the perfect birthday present for teenagers.

Sorry Tommy..
You can't judge this fragrance without at least saying a few words about "Oud Wood (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford". In my opinion, Oud Wood by Tom Ford is a masterpiece and not without reason one of the house's best-known fragrances, if not the best-known. After more than 15 years, everything has been said about the fragrance itself. "Oud Wood (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford" has only one small shortcoming, and that is the performance. It was so bad on me that I sold my "Oud Wood (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford". Instead, I came across "Carved Oud (Extrait de Parfum) | Thameen". Thanks to Souk, I was able to get hold of a leftover bottle "cheaply" and test it out straight away. The two fragrances are not identical but still very similar.

"Oud Wood (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford" is much smokier and darker, whereas the "Carved Oud (Extrait de Parfum) | Thameen" is sweeter and more resinous. At the end of the day, it's damn difficult to say which fragrance is better. In the end, the decisive factor for me is clearly the performance. "Carved Oud (Extrait de Parfum) | Thameen" is an extrait de parfum and you can clearly see that. Anyone who spends so much money on a perfume also wants to be noticed. That's why I've found my favorite.

Love at second sight
I was looking for a summer fragrance that is suitable for the evening and performs well. It was clear to me from the outset that the search would not be easy, because most summer fragrances tend to evaporate rather quickly and usually can't hold their own against their competitors from the perfume world on evening occasions. Quite apart from the fact that a typical summer fragrance tends to be more suitable for work/daily/leisure wear.

In my search for the perfect fragrance to match my specific criteria, I read through a few reviews and scoured perfumeries.

Whether it was "Join The Club - 40 Knots | XerJoff" or "Orange Flamingo | Marc Gebauer", somehow I couldn't find what I was looking for 100 percent. Even though the fragrances I just mentioned are absolutely great, I wasn't prepared to spend so much money on a perfume that didn't fully meet my expectations. Then at some point I came across "17 Rosso | Roberto Ugolini" and promptly bought a small bottle.

When I tested the fragrance for the first time, I wasn't exactly pleasantly surprised; I was almost indifferent to it. Too much "feminine" rose for my taste (at the time). However, I found the fruity notes in the form of peach and raspberry leaf interesting even then.

When I tested the fragrance again a few days later, I was shocked. The rose, which had previously seemed so feminine, was much darker and more masculine than before. The fruity notes also seemed much more intense and playful. The fragrance smelled so floral and life-affirming that I couldn't help but order the bottle. Especially when I realized after more than 8 hours that I could still smell it.

The bottle itself is very beautiful but perhaps a little uncreative. The sprayer is like a fire extinguisher. Two sprays of this extrait de parfum (!) are enough.

The performance couldn't be better, I can still feel the sillage even after several hours. The fragrance is not tied to seasons or occasions and is therefore an all-rounder, even if I will probably wear it more on warmer days. Because these floral and fruity notes exude such a joie de vivre and optimism that they simply make me want spring and summer, especially now at the time of writing this review.
